21 BEFORE OPERATION TURNING ON PROJECTOR Connect a projectors AC Power Cord into an AC outlet. LAMP Indicator lights RED, and READY Indicator lights GREEN. Press POWER ON-OFF button on Top Control or on Remote Control Unit to ON. LAMP Indicator dims, and Cooling Fans start to operate. Preparation Display appears on a screen and count-down starts. 24 COMPUTER INPUT SELECTING INPUT SOURCE DIRECT OPERATION Choose Computer by pressing INPUT button on Top Control or on Remote Control Unit. 25 COMPUTER INPUT This projector automatically tunes to most different types of computers based on VGA, SVGA, XGA or SXGA (refer to “COMPATIBLE COMPUTER SPECIFICATION” on page 28). When selecting Computer, this projector automatically tunes to incoming signal and projects proper image without any special setting. (Some computers need setting manually.) 26 COMPUTER INPUT MANUAL PC ADJUSTMENT This projector can automatically tune to display signals from most personal computers currently distributed. However, some computers employ special signal formats which are different from standard ones and may not be tuned by Multi-Scan system of this projector.
