WhatisCPRM? CPRMisacopy protection systemwithscramblesystem regarding therecordingofcopy-once broadcast programs. CPRMstands forContent Protection for Recordable Media. This unit isCPRMcompatible, whichmeans thatyoucan record copy-once broadcastprograms, butyou cannot make another copyofthoserecordings.CPRMrecordings canonlybemade onCPRMcompatibleDVD-RWformattedinVRmode, andCPRMrecordingscanonlybeplayed back on DVDplayers thatarespecifically compatible withCPRM.
