If the listening position is closer to the center speaker than to the front speaker, you can set the center delay time to improve the sound field effect. You’d better set this item together with other speaker settings. Rear Delay Setting Selects the rear delay time from off, 3ms to 12ms, or 15ms. If the listening position is closer to the rear speaker than to the front speaker, you can set the rear delay time to improve the sound field effect. You’d better set this item together with other speaker settings. Why Delay Time is Needed It is ideal that the distances are equal between the listner and the 5 speakers so that the sound from each speaker may reach the listner at the same time. If the distance of each speaker is not equal, the center speaker and surround speakers may be set to delay time to place them in the ideal virtual position. Setting delay time when the center or surround speakers are further away than the front speakers will not correct any sound problems. For every increase of 1ms in delay time the virtual distance of the speakers is increased by approximately 30 cm. Using this standard you can use the delay time setting to correct the difference in the distance of the front speaker. The delay time settings may be set for both the center speaker and the surround speakers. - - SPEAKER SETUP PAGE - - CNTR DELAY REAR DELAY5MS 3MS 1MS OFF CENTER DELAY OFF TEST TONE MAIN PAGE - - SPEAKER SETUP PAGE - - CNTR DELAY REAR DELAY15MS 9MS 3MS OFF SURROUND DELAY OFFTEST TONE MAIN PAGE SURROUND (SR) SURROUND (SL)FRONT (L)FRONT (R) CENTERTV ¼ÒµçάÐÞ¼¼ÊõÂÛ̳ http://www.bjjdwx.com/forum.php 79ÍøÂç http://www.79wl.com

Dynamic Range Setting In many listening situations, it is objectionable to allow the sound to become very loud, and thus the loudest sounds must be compressed downwards in level. Likewise, the very quiet sounds would be inaudible and must be brought upwards in level to be heard. Dolby Digital satisfies these needs through the dynamic range controlling. Selects the dynamic range compression to fit the individual listening situation of the audience. The variable range is from FULL, 7/8 to 1/8, or OFF. FULL Audio with fully compressed dynamic range. 7/8~1/8 Audio with partially compressed dynamic range. OFF Audio with uncompressed dynamic range.
