SERVICE
Erkende servicestations verzorgen reparaties en ser-
vice. Zij gebruiken originele reserveonderdelen. 
Verricht u eenvoudiger reparaties zelf? Let er dan 
op dat u originele reserveonderdelen gebruikt. Die 
passen direct en maken het werken eenvoudiger.
Geef bij het bestellen van reserveonderdelen de 
naam, het artikelnummer en het serienummer van 
de machine aan. Deze gegevens staan op het type-
plaatje op de machine.
Nooit andere onderdelen dan originele 
reserveonderdelen gebruiken. Dit is een 
eis die door de keuringsinstantie gesteld 
wordt. De machine is goedgekeurd en 
getest met deze onderdelen.
De fabrikant behoudt zich het recht voor om zon-
der mededeling vooraf wijzigingen aan te brengen 
in het produkt. 
AANKOOPVOORWAARDEN
Fabricagefouten en materiaaldefecten vallen 
volledig onder de garantie. De gebruiker dient de 
instructies in de bijgeleverde documentatie zorg-
vuldig op te volgen.
Garantieperiode
Gebruik consument: twee jaar na aankoopdatum.
Professioneel gebruik: 3 maanden na aankoopda-
tum.
Uitzonderingen
De garantie geldt niet in de volgende gevallen:
- nalatigheid van de gebruiker zich op de hoogte 
te stellen van de bijgeleverde documentatie
- onachtzaamheid 
- onjuist en ongeoorloofd gebruik of onjuiste en 
ongeoorloofde montage
- het gebruik van niet-originele reserveonder-
delen
- het gebruik van accessoires die niet door Stiga 
zijn geleverd of goedgekeurd
De garantie geldt ook niet voor:
- aan slijtage onderhevige onderdelen zoals blad-
en, riemen, wielen en kabels
- normale slijtage- motoren. Dergelijke zaken vallen onder de ga-
rantie van de bijbehorende fabrikant met aparte 
voorwaarden.
Op alle aankopen is de nationale wetgeving in het 
land van de koper van toepassing. De rechten die 
de koper aan de nationale wetgeving in zijn land 
kan ontlenen worden niet beperkt door deze garan-
tie.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This symbol means WARNING. Failure to 
follow the instructions carefully may lead to 
injury or damage.
GENERAL
• Study the warning stickers on the machine. Re-
place any damaged or illegible warning stickers.
• Read the instructions carefully. Find out what the 
controls do and learn how to use the machine 
correctly.
• Never use the machine if there are people, espe-
cially children, or animals nearby. Never let a 
child or adult use the machine if they are not fa-
miliar with these instructions.
• The user is responsible for any accidents that 
happen to other people or their property.
PREPARATIONS
• Wear safety gloves, safety goggles and hearing 
protection. Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothes.
• Keep a steady stance. Do not lean over the ma-
chine.
• Make sure the machine is on firm, level ground 
before starting. Do not stand the machine on 
gravel paths or the like. Objects that are thrown 
out may bounce and cause damage.
• Make sure that all nuts and bolts are securely 
tightened before use.
• Only use the machine in dry surroundings, never 
outdoors in the rain.
• Do not use the machine if it has a faulty safety 
device or if a guard is missing.
OPERATION
• Avoid starting accidentally. Make sure machine 
is switched off before plugging it in.
• Do not feed hard objects, such as stones, bottles, 
cans or pieces of metal into the machine. They 
can cause damage to the blades and motor.
• If the machine is blocked, stop the engine and un-
plug from the mains. Remove obstruction and 
check for damage.• Do not jerk the power lead or stretch it tight. Oth-
erwise connections or insulation may be dam-
aged. Such damage is invisible but dangerous.
• Always keep the power lead clear of the ma-
chine. Remove the plug from the socket and 
check the lead regularly for signs of damage or 
ageing. Replace the lead if necessary. Do not use 
the machine if the power lead is damaged.
• If the fuse blows or the overload cut-out trips this 
is a sign that the machine is overloaded, or that 
too many items are connected to the same supply. 
Investigate the cause and correct it. Do not fit a 
larger fuse.
• Keep your limbs and clothes away from the feed 
funnel and outlet.
• Do not stand near the outlet when the machine is 
running.
• Keep your face and the rest of your body away 
from the feed funnel.
• Never move the machine by dragging the power 
lead. Stop the motor before moving the machine.
• Never leave the machine unattended without first 
switching off and unplugging it.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Take care when cleaning or maintaining the ma-
chine. The blades will continue to rotate for some 
time after the motor is switched off.
• Switch off the motor, unplug the machine and 
wait until the blades have stopped before inspect-
ing the machine or doing any maintenance.
• If a foreign object strikes the blades or if the ma-
chine sounds strange or vibrates excessively, 
switch the motor off immediately. Unplug the 
machine and inspect for damage. Repair or re-
place damaged components. Tighten any loose 
components. Do not try to repair the machine if 
you are not sure how.
• The manufacturers undertaking and liabilities 
(according to product liability legislation) apply 
solely on condition that all spare parts used are 
approved by the manufacturer or of at least the 
same quality.
• Store the machine in a dry place.

ASSEMBLY
LEGS
1. Turn the motor housing upside-down. Insert the 
screws into the machine from the bottom (fig. 1).
2. The right and left legs differ. Check that the legs 
are attached so that they are angled outwards 
(fig. 2).
3. Fix the legs to the machine using washers and 
nuts (fig. 3). Do not tighten the nuts yet.
4. The axle components are assembled for packing 
and transportation. Loosen the nuts, wheel 
bushings and two washers on each side. Insert 
the axle between the legs (fig. 4).
5. Mount the wheels on the axles using the wash-
ers, bushings and nuts (fig. 5). Do not tighten 
the nuts yet.
6. Turn the machine the right way up and stand it 
on a level surface.
7. Tighten all the nuts. The legs can be secured by 
using a spanner to hold each bolt in place from 
below while tightening the nut (fig. 6). Secure 
each wheel by holding the one opposite in place 
with a spanner while tightening the nut on the 
other (fig. 7). Tighten each wheel approximate-
ly the same amount.
8. Snap the hub-caps onto the wheels. (fig. 8).
FUNNEL
Attach the funnel to the motor housing by hooking 
it onto the front of the housing then tipping it back-
wards. Make sure that the spring in the funnel is in-
serted into the hole of the housing (fig. 9).
Secure the funnel by tightening the locking knob 
(fig. 10).
OPERATION
GENERAL
This machine is designed solely for private use, not 
for professional applications.
The compost shredder is designed to shred organic 
material, such as plant waste, twigs, brush, small 
branches, etc.The shredder must not be used to mix 
topsoil. This will destroy the blades.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
Connect the machine to an earthed, single phase 
electric socket. The circuit must be protected by a 
13 A slow fuse (fig. 11).
Always use an earthed, rubber covered extension 
lead. Use a high quality lead designed for outdoor 
use. 
The conductor area must be at least 3 x 1.5 mm
2.
The socket fitted to the lead must be of the water-
proof type.
We recommend that you use an earth leakage cir-
cuit breaker that will cut off the power if anything 
happens to the machine or the extension lead.
If you use a portable earth leakage circuit breaker 
this must be fitted between the electric socket and 
the extension lead.
The use of an earth leakage circuit breaker does not 
guarantee your safety. Always follow the safety 
precautions. We recommend you wear shoes with 
thick rubber soles.
Test the operation of the earth leakage circuit 
breaker before use.
STARTING THE MOTOR
The motor will not start until the feed funnel is cor-
rectly fitted.
Make sure the shredder is empty before 
you start the motor.
Start the motor by pressing the toggle switch to set-
ting 1 (fig. 12).
Let the motor reach working speed before you feed 
anything in.
MOTOR CUT - OUT
The shredder has a built-in motor cut-out that pre-
vents the motor from being overloaded.
In the event of overload the toggle switch automat-
ically switches to the 0 setting.
The motor can be restarted after leaving it to cool 
for about 5 minutes.
Do not start the motor, set the switch to 0, unplug 
the machine and remove the feed funnel. Clean 
around the blade disc (fig. 13).

Replace the feed funnel and restart. NOTE! A safe-
ty switch in the motor housing prevents the motor 
from starting if the feed funnel is not fitted
correctly.
STOPPING THE MOTOR
Stop the motor by pressing the toggle switch to set-
ting 0 (fig. 12).
Do not feed in any material after the mo-
tor has stopped. It will jam in the ma-
chine and may prevent restarting.
Unplug the machine before leaving it unattended.
SHREDDING
The following types of material can be shredded in 
the shredder:
- twigs and branches
- waste from pruning bushes
- waste from trimming hedges
- plant remains and other garden waste that is 
suitable for shredding
To prevent damaging the machine we recommend 
that you do not exceed the following maximum 
sizes for twigs and branches:
Bio-Master: < 35 mm in diameter
Bio-Max: < 40 mm in diameter
It is a good idea to place the shredder on a tarpaulin 
or the like before shredding. This will catch shred-
ded material and simplify clearing up.
Feed the material you want to shred into the feed 
funnel. If it is not too bulky it will be drawn in by 
the blades.
A feeder device is supplied with all shredders. The 
feeder device is used for feeding in small twigs, 
leafy material and vegetation. Insert the feeder de-
vice its full length (fig. 14). Wait until the existing 
material has been completely shredded before add-
ing new material.
Shredded material can be shredded a second time 
to make finer compost.
Large branches are best shredded when they are 
fresh.
Garden waste often contains a lot of water which 
can cause it to stick to the shredder. It is a good 
idea to let such material dry for a few days before 
shredding it.Shredded material is ejected and collects beneath 
the outlet. The pile soon builds up and can block 
the outlet and stop the machine. Material may even 
be thrown back out of the feed funnel. 
Move the shredder or remove the pile of shredded 
material before this can happen.
Reverse or replace the blades regularly. Sharp 
blades make the work much easier, especially 
feeding in.
Feed in loose shredded material in amounts that 
the machine can cope with.
Do not force large branches against the blades. 
This overloads the motor and blades unnecessarily.
To avoid stoppages listen to the motor. If the 
speed drops suddenly pull back the branch and 
wait until the speed picks up. Feed the branch in 
gently.
If the blades become jammed, read the safety pre-
cautions before you open up the machine.
Make sure there is no material left in the feed fun-
nel when you stop the machine. The blades may 
jam when the machine is restarted.
Store the shredder indoors in a dry place.
MAKING COMPOST
You can make compost from shredded material in 
a variety of ways:
- Material may be laid in a heap on the ground 
(cold composting)
- Shredded material can be placed in a plastic bin, 
wooden compost box, mesh container, etc. 
(cold composting).
- Material may be placed in an insulated compost 
container. This keeps it warm and allows com-
posting to continue in the winter. This method 
gives faster results (warm composting).
- Material can be spread straight on the garden 
(surface composting).
MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the machine from the 
electrical supply before carrying out ad-
justment or maintenance.

REPLACING THE BLADES
The blades of the shredder have two cutting edges, 
so they can be reversed.
When both edges are worn the blades must be re-
placed. Always replace with genuine replacement 
blades.
Replace the blades as follows:
1. Switch off the motor and unplug the shredder. 
Wait until the blades have stopped.
2. Loosen the locking knob and remove the fun-
nel.
Always wear safety gloves when clean-
ing or replacing the blade disc.
3. Loosen the screws with a screwdriver. There are 
holes in the blades to simplify this. Inserting the 
screwdriver through these holes prevents the ro-
tary blade from turning (Fig. 15).
4. Reverse the blades and fit them with the sharp 
edge facing in the direction of rotation. Tighten 
the screws securely.
If both edges of the blades are worn, replace with 
genuine spare parts or resharpen.
SHARPENING BLADES
The blades are hardened and therefore must not be 
ground on an emery wheel.
They should only be sharpened wet on a whetstone 
or carborundum stone.
To avoid imbalance the blades must be ground so 
that each weighs exactly the same.
CLEANING
Always clean the compost shredder after you have 
used it. 
Turn off the motor and remove the plug from the 
wall socket. Loosen the locking knob and remove 
the funnel. Clean thoroughly round the rotary 
blade.
Never use water to clean the shredder!
Brush off any dirt or plant remains that are stuck to 
the blades.
SERVICE
Authorised service agents carry out repairs and 
service. They use genuine spare parts. 
Do you do basic repairs yourself? Then make sure 
you use genuine spare parts. They fit immediately 
and make your task easier.
When ordering spare parts please state the model, 
part number and serial number. This information is 
on the rating plate on the machine.
Do not fit any parts other than genuine 
spare parts. This is a requirement of the 
Swedish Testing Institute. The machine 
has been tested and approved with these 
parts.
the manufacturer reserves the right to modify the 
product without prior notice.
PURCHASE TERMS
A full guarantee is issued against manufacturing 
and material defects. The user must carefully fol-
low the instructions given in the enclosed docu-
mentation.
Guarantee period
For consumer use: two years from the purchase 
date.
For professional use: three months from the pur-
chase date.
Exceptions
The guarantee does not cover damage due to:
- neglect of the user to acquaint himself with ac-
companying documentation
- carelessness 
- incorrect and non-permitted use or assembly
- the use of non-genuine spare parts
- the use of accessories not supplied or approved 
by Stiga
Neither does the guarantee cover:
- wearing components such as blades, belts, 
wheels and cables
- normal wear

- engines. These are covered by the appropriate 
manufacturer’s guarantees with separate terms 
and conditions.
The purchaser is covered by each country’s nation-
al laws. The rights to which the purchaser is enti-
tled with the support of these laws are not

GENERALIDADES
• Lea cuidadosamente las etiquetas que hay en la 
máquina. Cambie las etiquetas rotas o no leíbles.
• Lea cuidadosamente las instrucciones. Aprenda 
la función de todos los mandos y el uso correcto 
de la máquina.
• No utilice nunca la máquina cuando terceras per-
sonas, especialmente niños o animales se en-
cuentran en las cercanías. No permita nunca que 
niños o adultos que no conocen estas instruccio-
nes utilicen la máquina.
• El usuario es responsable de los daños que se pue-
dan causar a terceras personas o a sus propiedades.
PREPARATIVOS
• Utilice guantes, gafas y auriculares de protec-
ción. Evite las prendas sueltas.
• Esté siempre bien afirmado y con buen equili-
brio. No se incline nunca hacia la máquina.
• Al utilizar la máquina, ésta debe estar sobre una 
superficie plana y firme. No coloque la máquina 
sobre caminos de gravilla o recubi-ertos ya que el 
material arrojado puede rebotar y causar acci-
dentes.
• Antes de utilizar la máquina, controle que todos 
los tornillos y tuercas estén correctamente apre-
tados.
• Utilice la máquina solamente en lugar seco y 
nunca en exteriores cuando llueve.
• No utilice nunca la máquina si los dispositivos de 
seguridad faltan o están dañados.
USO
• Evite los arranques involuntarios. Controle que 
el interruptor esté en posición desactivada antes 
de conectar el cable a la corriente eléctrica.
• Los objetos duros como por ejemplo piedras, bo-
tellas, latas o trozos de metal no deben introdu-
cirse en el embudo. Ello puede causar daños en 
el sistema de cuchillas y el motor.• Si la máquina se traba, pare el motor y desenchu-
fe. Retire los objetos trabados y controle que no 
se hayan producido daños.
• No tire del cable eléctrico. No mantenga el cable 
en tensión ya que se pueden producir daños en el 
enchufe o en la aislación del cable. Daños que 
aunque quizás no se vean, pueden ser peligrosos.
• Evite que el cable eléctrico sea dañado por la má-
quina. Desconecte el cable regularmente y contro-
le que no haya daños o que no haya envejecido. En 
caso de necesidad cambie de cable. No utilice 
nunca la máquina con un cable dañado.
• Si el fusible se funde o si la protección contra so-
brecarga se dispara, es una señal de que la máqui-
na está sobrecargada y/o de que demasiados 
aparatos están acoplados en la misma línea. In-
vestigue la causa y corrija el error. No instale un 
fusible más resistente.
• Mantenga las manos, otras partes del cuerpo y 
sus ropas lejos del embudo de alimentación y de 
la salida.
• No se sitúe cerca de la salida de la máquina cuan-
do esta está funcionando.
• Mantenga la cara y el resto del cuerpo alejados 
del embudo de alimentación.
• No traslade nunca la máquina tirando del cable ni 
con el motor funcionando.
• No deje nunca la máquina sin supervisión sin pri-
mero apagar el motor y desenchufar el cable.
MANTENIMIENTO Y ALMACENA-
MIENTO
• Al limpiar y mantener la máquina, tenga cuidado 
con los dedos. La máquina tiene cuchillas que si-
guen girando un rato después de haber apagado 
el motor.
• Apague el motor, desenchufe el cable y espere 
hasta que el disco de las cuchillas se haya deteni-
do para realizar el control o mantenimiento.
• Si algn objeto extraño choca con las cuchillas o 
si la máquina tiene un nivel de ruidos demasia-
do alto o vibraciones anormales, apague el mo-
tor inmediatamente. Desenchufe y controle los 
eventuales daños. Repare o cambie las piezas 
dañadas. Ajuste las piezas que estén sueltas. No 
repare la máquina si no tiene la especialización 
requerida.

• Las obligaciones y responsabilidades del fabri-
cante (segn la ley referente a las responsabilida-
des sobre un producto), sólo tienen validez a 
condición de que los repuestos utilizados sean 
los aprobados por el fabricante o que sean, por 
lo menos, de la misma calidad.
• Guarde la máquina en lugar seco.
MONTAJE
SOPORTES
1. Dar vuelta el cuerpo del motor. Colocar los tor-
nillos en la máquina desde abajo (fig, 1).
2. Los tubos son diferentes para el soporte derecho 
y el izquierdo. Controlar que queden montados 
inclinados hacia afuera (fig. 2).
3. Montar los soportes en la máquina con arande-
las y tuercas (fig. 3). No apretar las tuercas.
4. Las piezas del eje de la rueda están ya montadas 
en el embalaje. Aflojar las tuercas, los manguitos 
de las ruedas y dos arandelas a cada lado. Colo-
car el eje entre los tubos de los soportes (fig. 4).
5. Montar las ruedas en el eje con arandelas, man-
guitos y tuercas (fig. 5). No apretar las tuercas.
6. Dar vuelta el molino y colocarlo sobre suelo 
plano.
7. Apretar todas las tuercas. Apretar los soportes 
bloqueando con una llave en la parte inferior 
(fig. 6). Apretar las ruedas bloqueando la rueda 
opuesta (fig. 7). Apretar cada rueda más o me-
nos con la misma fuerza.
8. Colocar los tapacubos a presión (fig. 8).
EMBUDO DE ALIMENTACIÓN
Montar el embudo en el cuerpo del motor engan-
chándolo en la parte delantera y dejándolo caer ha-
cia atrás. Comprobar que la ranura del embudo 
entre en el orificio del cuerpo del motor (fig. 9).
Apretar el embudo con la manilla (fig. 10).
USO
GENERALIDADES
Esta máquina está indicada solamente para uso 
particular, no para profesionales.El molino de composte está construido para moler 
material orgánico como por ejemplo restos vegeta-
les, ramas, varas, etc.
El molino no se debe utilizar para traba-
jar el humus porque las cuchillas se da-
ñan.
CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA
Conecte la máquina a una toma de corriente mo-
nofásica con conexión a tierra. El circuito eléctrico 
debe tener un fusible retardado de 10A (fig. 11).
Utilice siempre un cable de goma con conductor a 
tierra. El cable debe ser de buena calidad, indicado 
para el uso en exteriores (por ejemplo STIGA, Nm. 
de pedido 8290-9003-01).
El área del cable debe ser de un mínimo de 3 x 1,5 
mm
2.
El enchufe hembra debe ser estanco a las salpica-
duras.
Se recomienda el uso de un interruptor accionado 
por corriente de pérdida a tierra que corta la co-
rriente si algo ocurre con la máquina o los cables 
de conexión.
Si se utiliza un interruptor portátil (por ejemplo 
STIGA nm. de pedido 8290-9010-01), se debe co-
locar siempre entre la toma de corriente y el cable.
An utilizando un interruptor accionado por co-
rriente de pérdida a tierra no se puede garantizar la 
seguridad. Siga siempre las reglas de seguridad. 
Utilice preferiblemente calzado con suela de goma 
gruesa.
Antes de utilizar la máquina, pruebe siempre la 
función del interruptor.
ARRANQUE DEL MOTOR
Para poder arrancar el motor, el embudo debe estar 
correctamente montado.
Antes de arrancar el motor controle que 
el molino esté vacío.
Arranque el motor llevando el interruptor a la po-
sición 1 (fig. 12).
Antes de introducir material en el molino espere a 
que el motor llegue a un régimen de revoluciones 
alto.

PROTECCIÓN DEL MOTOR
El molino está equipado con un monitor incorpora-
do que evita que el motor sea sobrecargado.
En caso de sobrecarga, el interruptor 
cambia automáticamente a la posición 0 
y corta la corriente.
Después de 5 minutos de refrigeración, el motor se 
puede arrancar nuevamente.
Si el motor no arranca, lleve el interruptor a la po-
sición 0, desenchufe y desmonte el embudo de ali-
mentación. Limpie el disco de las cuchillas 
(fig. 13). 
Monte el embudo y arranque nuevamente. NOTA! 
Un interruptor de seguridad impide el arranque si 
el embudo no está correctamente montado.
PARADA DEL MOTOR
Pare el motor llevando el interruptor a la posición 
0 (fig. 12).
No cargue material una vez que el motor 
ha sido parado porque se puede trabar 
en la máquina e impedir el arranque.
Desenchufe si la máquina va a quedar fuera de su 
control.
MOLIENDA 
Los siguientes tipos de material pueden ser moli-
dos en el molino de composte:
- varas y ramas
- los desechos producidos al cortar arbustos
- los desechos producidos al cortar setos
- restos de plantas y otros desechos del jardín,
apropiados para moler
Para no dañar la máquina se recomienda no exce-
der las siguientes medidas de varas y ramas:
Bio-Master:  < 35 mm de diámetro
Bio-Max:  < 40 mm de diámetro
Antes de comenzar a moler, coloque el molino so-
bre una lona o similar para recoger el material mo-
lido con mayor facilidad.
El material a moler se introduce en el embudo y si 
no es demasiado grande es absorbido por las cuchi-
llas.
Todos los molinos se entregan con un alimentador 
para la introducción de ramitas, materiales con 
muchas hojas y trozos de plantas. Introduzca el ali-mentador en toda su longitud (fig. 14). Antes de 
alimentar nuevo material, espere a que termine la 
trituración del material alimentado anteriormente.
El material se puede moler dos veces para obtener 
un resultado más fino.
Las ramas más gruesas son más fáciles de moler 
cuando todavía están verdes.
Gran parte de los desechos del jardín contiene mu-
cha agua por lo que son muy pegajosos. Este tipo 
de material es recomendable secarlo durante unos 
días antes de molerlo.
El material molido se va acumulando debajo de la 
salida del molino y puede llegar a taparla e incluso 
ser arrojado por el embudo de alimentación.
Cambie el molino de lugar o retire al material mo-
lido a tiempo. 
De vuelta o cambie las cuchillas con regularidad. 
Las cuchillas afiladas facilitan enormemente el tra-
bajo, sobre todo la autoalimentación.
No introduzca más material suelto que el que el 
molino alcanza a moler.
No presione las ramas por entre las cuchillas, por-
que tanto el motor como las cuchillas se esfuerzan 
en forma innecesaria.
Para evitar que el motor se pare, preste atención 
al sonido del régimen de revoluciones. Si se re-
duce demasiado, retire algunas ramas y espere a 
que el régimen de revoluciones aumente nueva-
mente. Introduzca las ramas con cuidado.
Si las cuchillas se bloquean, lea las instrucciones 
de seguridad antes de abrir la máquina.
Controle que no quede material en el embudo al 
terminar la molienda ya que las cuchillas podrían 
bloquearse al arrancar la próxima vez.
Guarde el molino en lugar cerrado y seco.
COMPOSTE
El composte del material molido puede realizarse 
de distintas maneras:
- El material puede amontonarse directamente

plástico, una caja de madera, un recipiente reti-

- El material se puede guardar en un recipiente 
aislado para composte, el calor se conserva me-
jor y la putrefacción continúa también durante 
los meses fríos del año. Este método produce 
los resultados más rápidos (composte en calien-
te).
- El material se puede distribuir directamente so-
bre el jardín (composte de superficie).
MANTENIMIENTO
Desenchufe siempre el cable antes de 
realizar ajustes y tareas de manteni-
miento.
CAMBIO DE CUCHILLAS
Las cuchillas de composte tienen dos filos, es decir 
que son reversibles.
Cuando ya se han utilizado los dos lados, las cuchi-
llas se deben cambiar. Utilice siempre cuchillas 
originales.
Proceda como sigue:
1. Pare el motor y desenchufe. Espere a que el dis-
co de cuchillas se detenga.
2. Aflojar la manilla y desmontar el embudo.
Utilice siempre guantes de protección al 
cambiar las cuchillas o limpiar el disco.
3. Sacar los tornillos con un destornillador. La hoja 
de la cuchilla tiene agujeros para facilitar el pro-
cedimiento. Pasando el destornillador por estos 
agujeros no se mueve la cuchilla (fig. 15).
4. De vuelta las cuchillas y móntelas con el filo en 
el sentido del corte. Ajuste los tornillos con 
fuerza.
Si ya ha utilizado los dos filos de las cuchillas, 
cambie por cuchillas originales o afile.
AFILADO DE LAS CUCHILLAS
Las cuchillas están templadas por lo que no deben 
ser afiladas con esmeril.
Para afilar utilice piedra de afilar y agua.
Para evitar desequilibrio, las dos cuchillas deben 
afilarse para que tengan exactamente el mismo pe-
so.
LIMPIEZA
El molino debe limpiarse cada vez que se utiliza.
Apagar el motor y desenchufarlo. Aflojar la mani-
lla y sacar el embudo. Limpiar cuidadosamente al-
rededor de la cuchilla.
¡No utilice nunca agua para limpiar el 
molino!
Quite los restos de plantas y suciedades con un ce-
pillo.
SERVICIO
Los talleres de Servicio Autorizado realizan repa-
raciones y servicio utilizando repuestos originales. 
Ver la lista adjunta.
Si Ud. mismo realiza pequeñas reparaciones, utili-
ce repuestos originales. Se adaptan perfectamente 
y hacen el trabajo más fácil.
Al hacer el pedido de repuestos, indique el nom-
bre, número de artículo y número de serie de la má-
quina. Estos datos los encuentra en la chapa de 
identificación de la máquina.
Por ningún motivo se deben utilizar re-
puestos que no sean los originales. Este 
es un requerimiento de las autoridades 
que han probado la máquina. La máqui-
na está probada y aprobada para traba-
jar con estas piezas.
El fabricante se reserva el derecho a modificar el 
producto sin aviso previo.
CONDICIONES DE COMPRA
Este producto incluye una garantía que cubre todos 
los defectos de fabricación y de los materiales. El 
usuario debe seguir atentamente las instrucciones 
que se indican en la documentación adjunta.
Período de garantía
Uso privado: dos años desde la fecha de compra.
Uso profesional: seis meses desde la fecha de com-
pra.
Excepciones
La garantía no cubre los daños derivados de:
- el desconocimiento por parte del usuario de las 
recomendaciones e instrucciones contenidas en 
la documentación adjunta
