Features menu
You can select the options listed below on the 
Features menu. To select options, see “Navigating 
through menus” (page 37).
Reduces the power consumption of the system.
1Press  (OK) to select [Power Saving].
2Press M/m to select [Reduce], then press 
 (OK).
 [Standard]: Default settings.
 [Reduce]: Reduces the power consumption of 
the TV.
 [Picture Off]: Switches off the picture. You can 
listen to the sound with the picture off.

Timer menu
You can select the options listed below on the Timer 
menu. To select options, see “Navigating through 
menus” (page 37).
Notes
 When the FM is selected, you cannot set the Timer menu.
 If “AUTO” is set in “Lift Mode,” the lift unit moves up 
when the system is turned off, or moves down when the 
system is turned on by the timer (page 72).
Sets a period of time after which the system

Set Up menu
You can select the options listed below on the Set Up 
menu. To select options, see “Navigating through 
menus” (page 37).
Starts the “first time operation menu” to tune in all the 
available channels. Usually you do not need to do this 
operation because the channels are already tuned 
when the system was first installed (page 18). 
However, this option allows you to repeat the process 
(e.g., to retune the system after moving house, or to 
search for new channels...

2Press M/m to select the desired input 
source, then press

Navigating through 
DVD’s menu
A DVD is divided into a lot of sections, which make 
up a picture or music feature. These sections are called 
“titles.” When you play a DVD which contains several 
titles, you can select the title you want using DVD 
TOP MENU.
When you play DVDs that allow you to select items 
such as the language for the subtitles and the language 
for the sound, select these items using DVD MENU.

DivX video files that the system can play
The system can play data that is recorded in DivX 
format, and which has the extension “.AVI,” or 
“.DIVX.” The system will not play files with the 
extension “.AVI” or “.DIVX” if they do not contain a 
DivX video.
Tip
For details about playable MP3 audio tracks or JPEG image 
files on DATA CDs/DATA DVDs, see “MP3 audio track or 
JPEG image file that the system can play” (page 59).
