Adjuster buttons
How to use the adjusters
To adjust the height
Adjust the height of the projector as follows:
1Lift the projector and press the adjuster buttons.
The adjusters will extend from the projector.
2While pressing the buttons, adjust the height.
Then, release the buttons.
The adjusters will lock, then the height of the
projector will be fixed. For fine adjustment, turn
the adjusters to the right or left.

Turns the projector on and off when the projector is in
the standby mode. (When the projector is in the
standby mode, the ON/STANDBY indicator lights in
red.) The ON/STANDBY indicator lights in green

Battery installation
1Push and slide to open the lid, then install the two
R6 (size AA) batteries (supplied) with the correct
polarity.
2Replace the lid.
Notes on batteries
•Make sure that the battery orientation is correct when
inserting batteries.
•Do not mix an old battery with a new one, or
different types of batteries.

Connecting to a Computer
This section describes how to connect the projector to
a computer.
(For further information about an example of connection,
see the next page.)
Select the “COMPUTER” in the INPUT-A or
INPUT-B of the SET SETTING menu.
Notes
•The projector accepts VGA, SVGA, XGA, and
SXGA signals. However, we recommend that you
set the output mode of your computer to XGA mode
for the external monitor.

Selecting the Menu Language
You can select the language to be used in the menu
and other on screen display. The factory setting is
ENGLISH.
1Plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet.
2Press the I / 1 key to turn on the power.
3Press the MENU key.
The menu display appears.
4Select the icon of the SET SETTING menu, the
third one, using the M or m key, then press the ,

To correct trapezoidal distortion
When the projected image is a trapezoid, change the
projector’s position/height by moving the adjusters.
For details on how to use the adjusters, see “How to use the
adjusters” on page 11 (GB).
If the image is still a trapezoid, correct it in DIGIT
KEYSTONE in the INSTALL SETTING menu.
