Performing common tasks
Choosing fonts
In all basic applications except Expense, you can change the font style to
make text easier to read. You can choose a different font style for each
application.
1Open an application.
2Tap the Menu  icon.
The menu is displayed.
3Tap Options, and then tap Font.
4Tap the font style you want to use.
You can select small, bold, or large font.
5Tap OK.
The text in the application is displayed in the selected font style.

What is a HotSync® operation?
A HotSync® operation is a one-step operation that allows you to
synchronize data between your CLIE handheld and your computer. With
just one press on the HotSync button, you can synchronize your CLIE
handheld application data with the Palm
™ Desktop for CLIE software data
on your computer, back up the data of your CLIE handheld on your
computer, or install add-on applications.

This section describes how to perform a HotSync® operation using the
cradle (local HotSync), assuming that you have done all the necessary
preparations and installations for your CLIE handheld and your computer.

If a message stating that the selected COM port is not available is
displayed
Follow the procedures below. If the same message appears again, uninstall
the Palm Desktop for CLIE software and then re-install it.

HotSync settings.
