Connecting the Projector to Other Equipment
Before connecting, ensure that the power cord of the pro\bector is unplugged from the AC outlet 
and turn off the equipment to be connected. After making all connections, turn on the pro\bector 
and then the other pieces of equipment. When connecting a computer, ensure that it is the last 
equipment to be turned on after all the connections are made.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the appropriate input mode has been selected on the pro\bector before

Controlling the Projector by \f Computer
When the RS-232C terminal on the pro\bector is connected to a computer with an RS-232C serial control cable (cross type, commercially available), the computer can be used to control the pro\bector and check the status of the pro\bector. Refer to the “SETUP MANUAL” contained on the supplied CD-ROM for “RS-232C Specifications and Commands”.

2 A\bjusting the Height
The height of the pro\bector can be 
ad\busted using the ad\bustment feet at the 
front and rear of the pro\bector.
When the screen is above the pro\bector, 
the pro\bection image can be made higher 
by ad\busting the pro\bector.
1  Lift the projector to \fdjust its 
height while lifting the HEIGHT 
ADJUST lever.
2 Remove your h\fnds from the 
HEIGHT ADJUST lever of the

When the image is pro\bected either from 
the top or from the bottom towards the 
screen at an angle, the image becomes 
distorted trapezoidally. The function for 
correcting trapezoidal distortion is called 
Keystone Correction.
