English118 OPTION SETTINGS DISPLAYING THE OPTION SCREEN The Option Screen is used to adjust various camera settings. 1 Display the Shooting Setting Screen or Playback Setting screen. hShooting Setting Screen, see page 55 hPlayback Setting Screen, see page 87 2 Toggle the SET button up or down to select the PAGE indication. 3 Toggle the SET button to the right. hThe Option Screen appears. hIf the SET button is toggled down, the Option Screen menu appears. Xacti: The Xacti display is shown. CALENDAR: The image that was entered for today’s date, or the first image for the next date to which an image was entered, is shown (page 97). 123English OPERATION SOUNDS This setting allows you to set whether or not a confirming audio signal sounds when the operation buttons (shutter button, SET button, MENU button, etc.) are pressed, and to adjust the audio signal volume. 1 Display the Option Screen (page 118). 2 Select the operation beep icon ?, and press the SET button. hThe Operation Beep Setting Screen appears. hThe current settings are shown on the screen. hIf “ALL OFF” is selected and the SET button pressed, all the operation sounds are muted. hIf “EXIT” is selected and the SET button pressed, you are returned to the Option Screen. TURN ON/OFF: Mute or enable the sound that is produced when the power is turned on or off. SHUTTER: Select the sound that is produced when the still image shooting button is pressed, or when a photo is taken using the self-timer. KEY SW: Select the sound that is produced when a camera button (SET button, MENU button, etc.) is pressed. AUDIO GUIDE: Mute or enable the camera’s audio help guide.
