    F. Priority
       To store your favorite stations so that you may
       recall the stations in a more easy way.
       When the desired stations are found by the tu-
       ning methods described above. Press the memo-
       ry button       , then Priority station button      . AP
       will flash in the LCD display and also a suggest-
       ed number of memory position. During P is fla-
       shing, select the desired memory position by pre-
       ssing Tuning Control       or       to the desired me-
       mory position, then press Memory button  
       again. P will stop flashing indicating priority station
       memory being done.
       The radio can allow maximum 3 favorite stations.
    G. Memory Tuning (station recall)
       Turn on the radio by pressing On/Off button 
       Select AM or FM band by pressing band select-116 8 3 4 6 1  
    						
    							12   ed button       then Memory Recall button  
       Select the required memory station by pressing
       Tuning Control      or      , LCD display Mand
       memory digit will flash . When the required sta-
       tion is found, press Memory Recall button      ag-
       ain, LCD M and memory digit will stop flashing.
       For priority stations recall, simply turn on the ra-
       dio by pressing On/Off button        then pressing
       Priority station button        . Select the required
       Priority station by pressing priority station button
       again.
       If there is no memory station or priority station,
       while you press Memory Recall button or Priori-
       ty button , LCD display will show ME (memory
       empty) or PE (priority station empty).
    H. MEMORY Delete
       If the memory is full or you like to delete the me-10 7 3 4 7 1 8  
    						
    							   mory stations .Recall the memory stations by pre-
       ssing Memory Recall buttons        . Press Memo-
       ry button      for more than 2 seconds untill LCD
       display DEL flashing, press Memory button 
       again, the recall memory station is then deleted.
    I. Memory Scan
       To scan the memory stations, press Memory re-
       call button for more than 2 seconds until LCD dis-
       play MEMO SCAN appears, the radio will scan
       the memory stations up and stops for a few se-
       conds for you to pick up the required memory sta-
       tions. When the required memory station is found.
       Press Memory Recall button       twice to stop
       Memory Scan.
    J. Memory Exchange
       For editing your memory stations, you may ex-
       change the memory stations.136 7 6 7  
    						
    							   Example : To exchange Memory station 2 with
                             Memory station 4.
       Recall Memory station 2 by pressing Memory
       Recall button        , press Memory button       then
       Tuning Control UP      button to the required Me-
       mory station 4, then press Memory button  
       again Memory station 2 and Memory station 4
       now is exchanged.
    K. Mono button
       The radio is designed to receive FM stereo broad-
       casts with earphone connected to the earphone
       jack      For weak FM station , press Mono bu-
       tton to get better reception.
    L. Change AM band tuning step
       For Northern American countries (Canada and
       USA) and some South American countries, AM

    							tuning step is 10 kHz. On other countries is 9
    kHz.
    To change AM band tuning step, please follow
    below steps.
    1. change AM band tuning step from 9 kHz to
        10kHz.
        Turn off the power by pressing On/Off button
              , press Tuning Control button Up       conti-
        nuously then turn on the power by pressing
        On/Off button again. Release the buttons the
        AM tuning step will now change to 10 kHz.
    2. change AM band tuning step from 10 kHz to
        9 kHz
        Turn off the power by pressing On/Off button
              , press Tuning Control button Down  
        continuously and then turn on the power by
        pressing On/Off button again. Release the bu-
        ttons, the AM tuning step will change to 9 kHz.151 4 1 3  
    						
    							M. Lock Switch
       To prevent accidential changing of any of the ra-
       dio settings, move the Lock Switch      to up po-
       sition, LCD display       icon will appear. To relea-
       se, simply move the switch to its down position.
       It is important to make sure Lock Switch is in its
       down position when radio is to be operated , as
       radio is completely inoperative until Lock Switch
       is released.
       If the radio is not to be used for any extended pe-
       riod of time battery power savings may be realiz-
       ed by setting Lock Switch to On position
       during storage.

    1. Keep the radio dry. If it does get wet , wipe it im-
        mediately. Liquids may contain chemicals that

    							2.Use and store your radio only in normal temper-
       ature environments. High temperature can shor-
       ten the life of electronic devices, damage batte-
       ries and melt plastic parts.
    3. Handle the radio gently and carefully. Dropping
        it can damage circuit boards and cases and ren-
       der it defective.
    4. Keep the radio away from dust and dirty.
    5. Wipe the radio with a damp cloth to keep it look-
        ing new. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents
        or strong detergents.
    6. Use only fresh batteries of the recommended si-
        ze and type. Always remove old or weak batteri-
        es as they can leak and destroy electronic com-
        ponents and circuitry.
    7. Modifying or tampering with the radio intemal
        components can cause a malfunction and will
        void the products warranty.18
