Perform the following steps remove MagicTune. 1. Go to [Tusk Tray] [Start] [Setti ngs] and select [Control Panel] in the menu. If the program runs on Windows XP, go to [Control Pa nel] in the [Start] menu. 2. Click the Add or Remove Programs icon in Control Panel. 3. In the Add or Remove Programs screen, scroll down to find MagicTune. Click on it to highlight it. 4. Click the Change/Remove butt on to remove the program. 5. Click Yes to begin the uninstall process. 6. Wait until the Uninstall Complete dialog box appears. Can you see Not Optimum Mode Recommended mode 1280 x 1024 60Hz on the screen? You can see this message when the signal from the video card exceeds the maximum resolution and frequency that the monitor can properly handle. Adjust the maximum resolution and frequency that the monitor can properly handle. If the display exceeds SXGA or 75Hz, a Not Optimum Mode. Recommended mode 1280 x 1024 60Hz message is displayed. Self-Test Feature Check 1. Turn off both your computer and the monitor. 2. Unplug the video cable from the back of the computer. 3. Turn on the monitor. If the monitor is functioning properly, you will see a box with a border and text inside as shown in the following illustration: The three boxes in side the border are red, green and blue.
