–Lock/Unlock: Lock or unlock the message to 
prevent deletion.
–Add To Contacts: Save the number of the sender to 
Contacts as a new entry or additional to an existing 
entry.
–Extract Addresses: Display all Contact Numbers, 
Email Addresses, and URLs extracted from the 
message, to call, send an email, or open the 
web page.

Messages are stored in the message folders, depending on

Sent Folder
When the Inbox View setting is set to Time, outgoing 
messages are stored in the Sent message folder by date and 
time.
Note: The Sent folder is only present when the Inbox View 
setting is set to Time. For more information, see 
“Messaging Settings” on page 62.

Drafts Folder
Drafts are messages that you’ve created, but have not yet 
sent. You can return to the Drafts folder at any time to 
review, edit or send a draft message.
1.From the Home screen, press the

of messages. While viewing the list of messages, press

Send and receive Email from popular services.

Initiating Registration from Your Phone
1.From the Home screen, press the  Messaging Key 
➔ Social Networks ➔ Update Status.
2.Enter text, then press   SEND.
3.Select sites to update. Use the   Directional Key to 
highlight sites, then press   MARK, or press the 
Right Soft Key  Mark All to select Facebook and 
Twitter. Once you make selections, these site(s) will be 
updated automatically each time you use Update

Emergency Alerts
This device is designed to receive Wireless Emergency Alerts 
from the Commercial Mobile Alert Service (CMAS). 
Emergency Alerts are geographically-targeted, and alert 
customers to imminent threats to their safety within their 
area. There is no charge for receiving an Emergency Alert.
There are three types of Emergency Alerts:
Presidential
Imminent (Severe or Extreme)
AMBER Alerts (missing persons)
Customers may choose not to receive Imminent Alerts and 
AMBER Alerts....
