Getting Started 6 Activating Your Phone If you purchased your phone at a Verizon Wireless store, it is activated and ready to use. 7 Batter y Cover The battery cover on the back of the phone protects the battery. Removing the batter y cover 1.Use the fingertip cutout at the bottom of the phone to pull the back cover off. 2.Firmly “pop” the cover off the phone. Replace the batter y cover Align the cover and press it into place, making sure it snaps securely.
