The Home screen is the starting point for using your phone.
Status Bar: Presents icons to show network status,

Icons display in the top line of the Home screen to show the 
status of the phone.

Digital Signal Strength: The number of bars 
show signal strength, with more ba rs meaning a

Using Menu Numbers 
Each menu item has a number assigned to it, and you can 
access menu items using these menu numbers.
For example, access Airplane Mode using standard 
navigation:
1.From the Home screen, press the Left Soft Key 
Menu.
