49 Reset Return the adjustments and settings to the factory default values. Choose “Yes” to return the display parameters on all menus except Language and Lamp Hours Used to the factory default settings. LAN Control settings also return to the factory default. 50 Volume Mute Temporarily turn off the sound. Choose “On” to mute the sound. Choose “Off” to turn mute off. Volume Adjust the volume level. Press the key to decrease the volume. Press the key to increase the volume. “Volume” menu is not available on RICOH PJ S2240/RICOH PJ TS100. Note “Mute” function affects both internal and external speaker volume. 51 Options Auto Source When this function is turned “On”, the projector will search for other signals if the current input signal is lost. When this function is\ turned “Off”, it will only search a specified connection port. Input Use this option to enable/disable input sources. Press the ► key to enter the sub menu and select which sources you require. Press “Enter” to finalize the selection. The projector will only search for inputs that are enabled. Auto Power Off (Min) Sets the countdown timer interval. The countdown timer will start, when there is no signal being sent to the projector. The projector will automatically power off when the countdown has finished (in minutes). When countdown timer is selected to “0”, auto power off is disabled. Default value of “Auto Power Off (Min)” is 20 min. Note English English User Settings English
52 Lamp Settings Use this option to view the lamp life status and configure the lamp settings. Press the ► key to enter the sub menu and configure the desired settings. Lamp Hours Used (Normal): Display the projection time. Lamp Hours Used in Eco mode or “Image Eco” mode “On” will be converted to Lamp Hours Used in “Normal” mode. Lamp Life Reminder: Choose this function to show or to hide the warning message when the changing lamp message is displayed. The message will appear 30 hours before suggested replacement of lamp. Lamp Power Mode: Set the brightness mode. Choose “Normal” to increase the brightness or choose “ECO” to dim the projector lamp which will lower power consumption and extend the lamp life. Image Eco: Choose “On” to dim the lamp power, depending on the brightness level of images, and significantly reduce the lamp power consumption. The lamp life will be extended. High Altitude When “On” is selected, the fans will spin faster. Set High Altitude mode to “On” when the projector is used over 2500ft (750m) elevation. When ambient temperature is over 40°C in operating, the projector will switch to “ECO” automatically. Note English User Settings
53 Dust Filter Reminder Use this option to view the filter status and configure the filter settings. Press the ► key to enter the sub menu and configure the desired settings. This item is disabled for the projector sold in some regions. Filters Remind (Hour): Set the maximum filter time usage. Cleaning Up Reminder: Choose this function to show or hide the warning message when the changing filter message is displayed. If the reminder function is enabled and the usage time reached its limit, a message will appear on the screen to remind you to clean or change the filter. Information Display the projector information. Source: Display the input source that is currently connected to. Resolution: Display the resolution setting of the current input source. Software Version: Display the firmware version. Color Space: Display the currently used color matrix type. Aspect Ratio: Display the currently used aspect ratio setting. 54 3D 3D Use this option to enable/disable the 3D function. Off: Choose “Off” to display normal (2D) picture. On: Choose “On” to display 3D format. 3D Sync Invert Use this option to enable/disable the 3D sync invert function. Off: Choose “Off” for default frame contents. On: Choose “On” to invert left and right frame contents. Choose “On” if viewing image is not natural or felt 3D incorrect. 3D Format Use this option to select the appropriate 3D format content. Side by Side: Use this mode for “Side by Side” format 3D content. Top and Bottom: Use this mode for “Top and Bottom” format 3D content. Frame Sequential: Use this mode for “Frame Sequential” format 3D content. Compatible 3D source, 3D content and Optical 3D glasses Type 2 is required for 3D viewing. “3D Sync Invert” is only available when 3D is enabled. This setting may need to change when re-start running 3D movie. 3D function is turned on automatically when Blu-ray 3D source is input. Note English User Settings
55 How to use web browser to control your projector Connecting to the projector 1. Check IP address of the projector Check IP address in “Settings” > “Network” in the projector \ menu system. (See page 44 on the projector user’s manual). 2. Connect Open your web browser and type in the IP address you checked. For example, type “http://192.168.0.100” when IP address is displayed as the screen above. Login 1. The web browser shows a login page If you want to connect an existing network system, consult the network administrator for network settings. Network settings such as password will be reset when you set “Default settings 2” > “Reset All” in the projector menu system. In rare cases, the network function won’t work properly due to electrostatic discharge or something. Set “Default settings 2” > “Reset All” in such a case. Note This web pages use Java Script. 56 The warning message “Invalid Character” will popup if your password is incorrect. “B01” showed in the top in the web page picture indicates software version of this web page. It may be different from “B01”. Note 2. Select a user You can use all functions (Control Panel, Network setting and Alert setting) when you select “administrator”. And you can use only “Control Panel” when you select “user”. 3. Enter the Password If the password setting is enabled the correct password needs to enter. Default passwords of Administrator: “admin” Default passwords of User: “user” If the password setting is disabled the “Password” item will be gray out. Click [Login] button to login. 4. Login After login, control tabs will appear. It contains Home, Control Panel, Network Setting, Alert Setting, and Logout. Home is automatically selected after login. English LAN Control
57 Home This is Home page which shows basic information of your projector. There is no control on this page. 1. Projector Status System Status: It shows the current system status of the projector. It includes Standby, Warm-up, Power-on, cooling, Power-off and Unknown. -Input: [PJ X5460][PJ WX5460] It shows the current input source of the projector. It includes Computer 1, Computer 2, S-Video, Video, HDMI, None and Unknown. -Lamp Hours: It shows the current lamp hours of the projector. -FW Version: It shows the current firmware version of the projector. 58 Projector Control Panel This page shows the control items of your projector. User can control the projector by this page. Control Buttons Execute a function when the button is clicked. [Power ON]Power is turned on. [Power OFF]Power is turned off. [Auto Set]Automatically adjust the RGB signal from the computer. [Input]Switch among Computer1, Computer2, Video, S-Video, and HDMI. Setting Buttons Setting is toggled On and Off by clicking the button. [Auto Source]Search the next signal source automatically when the current signal is lost.
