Changing the order of TV channels
and deleting TV channels
1Switch your TV set on. If necessar y set the TV to the
correct audio/video channel for the DVD recorder system.
Such channels may be called AUX or AUXILIARY IN,
AUDIO/VIDEO or A/V IN, EXT1, EXT2 or EXTERNAL IN,
etc. These channels are often near channel 00.
2Press SYSTEM MENU.
3Press 1repeatedly to select A.

Setting the time and date

Selecting a source
1Turn SOURCE on the DVD recorder system or keep a
source key on the remote control pressed for 1 second to
select either :
–DISC: the disc in the DVD recorder system
–MONITOR: the internal TV tuner of the DVD
recorder system (only selectable by pressing
DVD/MON on the remote control)
–TV: the TV
–CAM1: a camcorder connected to CAM1
–CAM2: a camcorder connected to CAM2
–SAT: a connected satellite receiver
–VCR: a connected VCR (video recorder)
–GAME: a connected game console

Adjusting the volume of all
speakers
Press VOL+or VOL−
or turn VOLUME on the DVD
recorder system to adjust the volume.

0To switch off the sound of the DVD recorder system,

The DVD recorder system automatically detects if a
surround sound is available and displays the type of signal:
➜DD: Dolby Digital,
➜DTS: DTS Digital Surround,
➜DPL: Dolby Pro Logic,
➜MPEG: MPEG multichannel.
Please keep in mind that not all DVD discs provide
multichannel surround sound. Some DVDs contain stereo
sound only.
If a connected appliance offers digital surround sound
(Dolby Digital, DTS or MPEG) you need to connect the
digital output of the appliance to the DVD recorder system

Adjusting 3D Surround and
Natural Surround
1Press AUDIO MENU to enter the audio menu.
➜EFFECTSis displayed on the DVD recorder system.
2Press 2.
3Press 4repeatedly to select either 3D SURRor
NATURAL, then press 2.
4Press 3or 4repeatedly to set the surround effect of
3D SURRor NATURALbetween 0(no effect) and
100(maximum effect).

Selecting a preset radio station
1Press TUNER to select the radio tuner.
2Press CH + or CH–
repeatedly to skip to a preset radio
station or use 0–9 to enter the number of a preset radio
station. To enter a preset number with two digits, press 0–9
twice within 2 seconds.
