    •[Slideshow trans.]Sets the transition 
    from one picture to the nex t.
    •[Slideshow freq.]Sets the amount of 
    time that a picture is shown.
    •[Rotate image]Rotates a picture.
    •[Show info]Displays the picture 
    name, date, size and nex t picture in 
    the slide show.
       
     
     
     
     
    3 Press  OK to confi rm your setting.
     
    Note
    •[Rotate image] and  [Show info] appear only 
    when you press OK or  
     to pause the 
    slideshow.
       
     
     
     
     
    View photos and play music 
    from a USB storage device
      Caution
    Philips is not responsible if the USB storage •
    device is not suppor ted, nor is it responsible 
    for damage or loss of data from the device.
    Use the USB connector to view photos or 
    listen to music stored on a USB storage device.
       
     
     
     
    1  Turn on the T V.
     
     
     
     
    2  Connect the USB device to the USB por t 
    on the side of your T V.
    The home menu appears. »
     
     
      
     
     
     
     
     
     
    3 Press   to select  [Browse USB].
     
     
     
     
    4 Press  OK to confi rm.
    The USB thumbnail browser appears. »

    Press  • GUIDE to switch between thumbnail

    View photos
     
     
     
     
    1  In the USB content browser, select 
    [Picture] and press

    4 Press  OK to view the selected photo in 
    full screen mode.

    Change TV  preferences
     
     
     
     
     
    1 Press   ( Home).
     
     
     
     
    2 Select  [Setup] >[Installation] >

    •[Location]Optimises T V settings for 
    your location - home or shop.
    •[Volume bar]Displays the volume 
    bar when you adjust the volume.
    •[EasyLink]Enables one-touch play 
    and one-touch standby between 
    EasyLink-compliant devices. 
    •[Pixel Plus Link]Overrides the 
    settings of connected devices and 
    uses the settings of the T V. (Available 
    only when  [EasyLink] >[On] is 
    selected).
    •[Colour] Sets the colour television 
    standard used in your area. Select 
    one of the following:  [SECAM],
    [NTSC],[AUTO] or  [PAL].
    •[E-sticker]For shop mode only. Sets 
    the location of the e-sticker.
       
     
     
     
     
    4 Press   to select your preference.

    Access decoder channel
    You can map channels provided through a 
    decoder or descrambler to your TV channel 
    selection. In this way, you can select these 
    channels by using the RC of your TV. The 
    decoder or a descrambler must be connected 
    to EXT1. 
       
     
     
    Set decoder channel
    Map channels from a decoder or descrambler
     
     
     
     
    1 Press   ( Home).
     
     
     
     
    2 Select  [Setup] >[Installation] > 
    [Decoder].
     
     
     
     
     
    Listen to music
     
     
     
     
    1  In the USB thumbnail browser view, 
    select  [MUSIC] and press  
     to enter.
     
     
     
     
    2 Press   GUIDE to switch between 
    thumbnail and fi le browsing views.
       
     
     
    3 Press   to select music or a music 
    album.
       
     
     
    4 Press  OK to play the selected music.
     
     
     
     
     
    Music settings
    When listening to music, press   OPTIONS
    to access one of the following music settings.
    •[Repeat]
    •[Play once]
    •[Repeat]

    3 Press   to enter  [Decoder].
     
     
     
     
    4 Press   to enter  [Channel].
     
     
     
     
    5 Press   to select channel number to 
    map to the decoder/descrambler channel.

    8 Press   to select the connector used 
    by the decoder/descrambler ( [None] or 
    [EXT 1]).
     
     
     
     
    9 Press  OK.

    Note
    Select  •[None] if you do not want to map to 
    the decoder/descrambler channel.
       
     
     
     
     
    Start a TV demo
     
     
     
     
     
    1 Press  DEMO on the remote control.
     
     
     
     
    2 Press   to select a demo and press  OK
    to view it.
       
     
     
    3 Press  DEMO to exit.
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Reset the TV to factory 
    settings
    You can restore the default picture and sound 
    settings of your TV. The channel installation 
    settings remain the same.
       
     
     
     
    1 Press   ( Home).
     
     
     
     
    2 Select  [Setup] >[Installation] >[Factory 
    settings].
     
     
     
     
    3 Press  OK or   to enter the  [Factory 
    settings] menu.
    »[Reset] is highlighted.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    4 Press  OK to reset to factor y settings.
     
     
     
     
    5 Press   ( Home) to exit.

    5  To stop searching, select  [Stop] and press

    install TV and digital radio channels (if available).

    Automatically install channels
    This section describes how to search and store 
    channels automatically.
       
     
     
    Step 1 Select your menu language

    4 Press  Numeric buttons to manually enter 
    the three-digit frequency.
       
     
     
    5 Press  OK to begin search.
    If a channel is unavailable at the  »
    selected frequency, the system searches 
    for the next available channel.
       
     
     
     
     
    6 Press   BACK when the new channel is 
    found.
       
     
     
    7 Press   to select  [Store new channel]
    to store the new channel under a new 
    channel number.
       
     
     
    8 Press   to enter  [Store new channel].
     
     
     
     
    9 Press  OK to store the new channel.
     
     
     
     
    10 Press   ( Home) to exit.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    6 Press   to select  [Stop] or  [Continue].
     
     
     
     
    7 Press  OK to confi rm your choice.

    Manually install channels
    This section describes how to search and store 
    analogue TV channels manually.

    3 Press   to select and enter  [Skip

    4 Press   to select  [Yes] and press  OK to 
    skip current channel.
    The selected channel is skipped when  »
    you press  P +/- on your remote 
    control or view the channel grid.
       
     
     
     
     
    5 Press   ( Home) to exit.
     
    Note
    You can restore a skipped channel to your •
    channel  listing .
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Rename channels
    You can rename channels. The name appears 
    when you select the channel.
       
     
     
     
    1  When watching T V, press  OK to display 
    the channel grid .
       
     
     
    2  Select the channel you want to rename.
     
     
     
     
    3 Press   OPTIONS.
    The channel options menu appears. »
     
     
     
     
     
     
    4 Press   to select and enter  [Rename 
    chan.].
    A text input box appears. »
     
     
     
     
     
     
    5 Press   to select characters.
     
     
     
     
    6 Press  OK to confi rm each of the 
    characters.
      Tip
    Rename channels - a channel name can be up •
    to six characters long.
    Press  
    •[Aa] to change an uppercase let ter to a 
    lowercase let ter and vice versa.
       
     
     
     
     
     
    Change the channel number
     
     
     
     
    1 Press   ( Home).
     
     
     
     
    2 Press   to select  [Setup] > 
    [Installation] >[Channel inst all.] > 
    [Analogue: Manual].
    The »[Analogue: Manual] menu appears.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    3 Press   to select and enter 
    [Channel number].
    The screen displays the channel that  »

    3 Press   to select  [Reorder], then press 
    OK.
     
     
     
     
    4  Select the channel to rearrange, then 
    press  OK.
    The selected channel is highlighted. »

    channel to the desired location, then 
    press  OK.
     
     
     
     
    6 Press   OPTIONS.
    »[Done reordering] appears on the
