The digital audio content side of a DualDisc does not meet the technical specifications of the Compact Disc Digital Audio (CD-DA) format so play may

8Inserting/Removing the discs and cards
Adhere to the following to avoid problems.
•Place the disc label up in the center of the tray.
•Insert only one disc into each tray.You can use SD cards with capacities between 8MB and 1GB on this unit 
(⇒ page 6)
•Do not open the card lid during play as play stops.
•Do not open the lid while recording/editing. This may cause recording/ 
editing to stop or the data may not be correctly recorded/edited on the 
SD card.

Conserving power
The unit consumes power (approx. 0.3 W) even when it is turned off with [POWER ^/I]. To save power when the unit is not to be used for a long time, 
unplug it from the household AC outlet. You will need to reset some memory items after plugging in the unit again.
