33 Managing Event The recorders alarm action starts according to the settings when an event occurs. T he event function includes, terminal alarms, command alarms, and site alarms. Refer to the Setup Instructi ons (PDF file) for information about event functions. About Events Event action will be performed when some events occur. Event 35 When an error occurred, the unit will be in the error status. To release the unit from the error status, do the following. 1When an error occurred, the [ERR] button will be displayed in the status display area. 2Click the [ERR] button. The unit will be released from the error status. Note: Depending on the error, the ERROR indicator on the front of the unit does not go off even if the [ERR] button is clicked. 36Preventing illegal operations You can lock the buttons on the front panel of t he recorder to prevent them from being operated. 1 Press the arrow buttons (up or down) on the front panel. 37 Checking logs You can check logs of malfunctions, access, events (time/date, description) , and network malfunctions. You can view a listing of the errors that have occurred on the recorder. 1Click the [Control] button. 2Click the [Error log] button in the [Log] box.
