6-1.   Connecting the control panel and mainframe
Connect the MAIN FRAME connector on the control panel and PANEL connector on the mainframe using the 
CAT5E cable supplied.

 How to install the software
This section describes how to install the image transmission software (HS450 Tool).
Windows XP is used as the host computer’s operating system in the example given here.1.  Insert the CD-ROM supplied with the unit into the CD-ROM drive of the host computer in which the program will be installed. (Here, E: will serve as the name of this drive for example.)

On the Start menu of Windows, select [Programs]  [Panasonic]  [AV-HS450Tool]  [HS450Tool].
The main screen now appears.
