    I Programmable Two Way Beep
    Program the beep which sounds
    every 15 seconds during a 2-WAyrecording. For 2-WAY recording, seepage 12.
    1. Push the Program button until the
    Memory Indicator light is on.

    							Cassette TapesMaintenance
    oFor optimum sound quality and perlcrmance,
    we recommend you to rePlace the oGM and
    the ICM cassette taPes every six rnonths
    and to re-record the outgoing mt sage
    every three months supposing th; i the unit
    answers about ten calls a daY.
    oNever place a cassette tape near a :nagnetic
    source, such as a magnet or a TV srt, because
    it will affect the tape qualitY.
    oA sensing foil (silver) is attached tc lhe endless
    tape. lf the sensing foil does not cc iact the
    sensing pole, the endless tape wil :ot stop
    automatically, and it is probably w n or
    cracked. Reolace it with a new Pa .sonic
    endless cassette taPe (KX-C030).

    in contact with the tape, dirt and re5id0e flom the
    tape can easily adhere to these parts, causing
    distortion. These parts should be cleaned
    periodically in the manner described below.
    oClean the head surfaces, sensing switch,
    pinch rollers and capstans with a cotton
    swab.
    lf these surfaces are extremely dirty, dampen
    the cotton swab with alcohol.
    Notes:oDo not bring magnetic or metal objects, such as
    a screwdriver, near the head assemblies, as
    such objects could magnetize the heads.
