(2) Stop print scheduler.

(3) Add print server.

(4) Set up print queue.
Example: Add print queue name "kxp7310lp"

(2) Disable printer spooler.

(3) Add the following line to the /etc/inetd.conf.

(4) Restart inetd.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a protocol for transferring files installed on TCP/IP systems.
Perform the following steps.

If an IP Address has been assigned to a printer, you can access the printer's Web Server 
(Embedded Web Server). It allows monitoring or setting the printer.
To display the printer’s Web Server, there are one or two methods.
•From the Network Setup Tool (Windows only)(see below)
•From the Browser (see page 75)

1Open the browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape).
2Enter the printer’s IP Address in the Address box and press the Enter 
key.
The printer’s Web Server screen is displayed.

To change the printer's setting,
1Display the Web Server screen (see page 74, 75).
2Click Network Setup in the left pane.
The Enter Network Password window is displayed.
3Ty p e  root in the User name box and click [OK].
•If the password is already set, the password must be entered in the Password box.
4Click the menu item (TCP/IP, NetWare...) and change the setting.
5Click [Submit Query].
6Click [OK]....

It is recommended that the password is set so only the network administrator can change the 
configuration. To set the password, proceed to the following steps.
1Perform step 1 - 3 of “Changing the Printer's Settings” on page 76.
2Click General in the right pane.
3Enter the password in the Value box (Max. 7 characters) and click 
[
Submit Query].
4Click [OK].
5Click Restart the Printer in the left pane....
