You can watch images in high-resolution HD video if you connect this unit and a high definition TV and then play back the images. (l100) You can also record to a conventional standard picture quality 8 cm (3z) DVD disc by rotating the mode dial. Playback is possible on existing devices that do not support AVCHD.
