Touch [YES] to start home monitor. ≥ This unit will be turned on if it is touched on the by a smartphone even when this unit was turned off using the LCD screen. ∫ If the device is Android (n on-NFC-compatible) or iOS 1Press Wi-Fi button and touch [Home Cam]. 2Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.≥When a Wi-Fi connection guidance sc reen is displayed, select [NO]. ≥ Use the smartphone to start home monitor. (If you have turned off this unit with the power button, this unit will not turn on by touching the smartphone on of this unit) ≥ You can register up to five smartphones. When the number exceeds five, registrations will be deleted, starting from the oldest touched one. ≥ Please refer the instructions for the device you are using for information on how to set up and use a NFC-compatible smartphone. An image or sound may be interrupted or a connection may be disconnected depending on the line state. What you can operate/set with a smartphone during home monitoring ∫ What you can operate with a smartphone Confirm the condition inside the house The monitoring video can be confirmed. ≥The monitoring image can be recorded as a video or a still picture. ≥ It cannot be confirmed with multiple smartphones simultaneously. ≥ Depending upon the environment in which the device is used, motion picture may be like a frame rate is low. Voice message The smartphone and this unit can be used like radio transceivers, allowing the users to have a conversation by taking turns. ≥You can talk up to 10 seconds in 20 second interval. ≥ Open the LCD monitor of this unit when using the Voice message function. ∫ What you can set with a smartphone Moving/non-moving object detection This unit can detect moving objects and non-moving objects in the home monitoring detection area. ≥Once this unit is set to home monitoring (home monitoring standby state), it cannot detect moving objects for up to 5 minutes. ≥ Detection of some moving and stationary subjects may not be possible due to the condition of the subject. Check beforehand to see if detection of the moving or stationary object can be detected. ≥ If the movement of the subject is too fast or to o slow, if the subject is too small, or if the surroundings are too dark, detection of moving and stationary objects may be impossible. Automatic recording You can record a motion picture on this unit as it detects a moving or non-moving object. ≥Automatic recording will record for approximately 30 seconds. ≥ Automatic recording can record a maximum of 1 hour 15 minutes per day. Check the remaining available recording time. ≥ When automatic recording is performed with moving object detection, automatic recording is performed only once within the set time. ≥ When automatic recording is performed with non-moving object detection, the set time will be reset and non-moving object detection will start again.
- 137 - ≥Setting cannot be performed while operating monitoring with a smartphone.Touch [Setup] and select desired setting. ∫ [Home Monitor Connect] You can display the registration screen for a Device ID and Password. ≥If [QR code] is touched, a QR code will be displayed on the screen of this unit. ∫ [Remote Voice Level] You can set the initial remote voice level and speaker volume level of the remote voice function. ≥The mode cannot be switched to another one during home monitoring operations. ≥ Although home monitoring can be performed with the battery, we recommend you use the AC adaptor. ≥ It is recommended to use this unit fixed so that it will not move since it may cause false detection. ≥ Power of this unit will automatically turn off when monitoring condition continues for approximately 10 days. ≥ [REC MODE] is set to [HE]. ≥ [ZOOM MODE] is set to [i.Zoom OFF]. ≥ Creative Control Mode will not be available. ≥ If you record an image when the LCD monitor of this unit is closed with the screen facing outward, the LCD monitor turns off. ≥ The password for the home monitor settings will change when [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] is performed. Set the home monitor settings of the smartphone again and reconnect to this unit when [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] is performed. Changing the home monitor settings of this unit (Volume high)/ (Volume low)

( l152 ) Playing back on a TV You can play back the scenes and still pictures recorded with or stored in this unit on a TV. ≥The following scenes can be played back: jScenes recorded in AVCHD [HG]/[HE] j Scenes recorded in MP4/iFrame [720] j Scenes saved in MP4 (High Quality) or MP4 (Low Quality) 1Press Wi-Fi button and touch [DLNA Play]. ≥If you touch [Change AP], you can switch the wireless access point to another one that has been registered to this unit. ≥ If you touch [CANCEL], the Wi-Fi connection is canceled. ≥ When the connection is complete, the screen of this unit turns off. To display it again, touch the screen. Wi-Fi [DLNA Play] ≥Please read the operating instructions for the TV about connecting TV to the wireless access point. ≥ Do not remove the SD card in playing back on a TV.

Blue/Red: Skip playback ≥ Fast forward/Fast rewind playback cannot be performed. ≥ You cannot perform playback operations with this unit. Touch [YES] to exit. ≥Scenes recorded in the following [REC FORMAT] or [REC MODE] can not be played back: jAVCHD: [1080/60p]/[PH]/[HA] j MP4/iFrame: [1080]/[iFrame] ≥ The scenes may not be played back smoothly depending on your environment, such as the network condition.
