Inserting and Removing the Card (optional)
•Check that this unit is turned off.•We recommend using a Panasonic card.

•During access (image writing, reading and deleting, formatting etc.), do not turn off the 
power, remove the battery, card or disconnect the AC adaptor (supplied). Furthermore,

Setting Date/Time (Clock Set)
•The clock is not set when the camera is shipped.
Slide the REC/PLAY switch to [!] 
and then turn the camera on.
•If the language select screen is not displayed, 
proceed to step4.

Tips for taking good pictures
Hold the camera gently with both hands, keep your arms still at your side 
and stand with your feet slightly apart.
