∫Shutter speed for each flash setting
¢ The shutter speed changes depending on the slow shutter setting. (P67)
 Do not stare at the photo flash from 
close proximity.
 If you bring the flash too close to the  subjects, they may be distorted or 
discolored by its heat and lighting.
 Do not cover the photo flash with your 
fingers or any other items.
 While the flash is charged, the LCD  monitor turns off and you cannot take 
pictures. The status indicator lights....

Taking Pictures with the Self-timer
1Select the self-timer mode.
: Self-timer set to 10 seconds

Use this function when you cannot achieve 
appropriate exposure due to the difference 
of brightness between the subject and the

Compensate the exposure toward positive. Properly exposed
Over exposed
Compensate the exposure toward negative.

Taking Pictures using Auto Bracket
In this mode, 3 pictures are automatically 
recorded by each press of the shutter 
button according to the compensation 
range of the exposure.
You can select the desired exposure 
among the 3 types of pictures.

Optical Image Stabilizer
This mode recognizes and compensates 
jitter. You can reduce blurring caused by 
jitter especially when you take pictures with 
the optical zoom set to Tele or when you 
take pictures indoors where the shutter 
speed is slowed down.

Playing Back Pictures
When a card is not inserted, the picture 
data in the built-in memory appear. When a 
card is inserted, the picture data in the card 
appear. (P20)

2 : Play back the previous picture.

 The last recorded picture will be played  back first.
