Taking Pictures using 
Burst Mode

∫Focusing in burst mode
The focus changes depending on the 
setting for [FOCUS PRIORITY] in the 
[CUSTOM MENU] menu (P106) and the 
focus mode setting.
¢1 When you take pictures using Live 
View, the focus mode setting is [AFS] 
and the focus is fixed at the first picture.
¢2 The burst speed may become slower 
because the camera is continuously 
focusing on the subject.
¢3 The burst speed does not become as 
slow as when [FOCUS PRIORITY] is 
set to [ON].

Taking Pictures with 
the Self-timer
1Set the drive mode lever to [ ].

A picture is not taken until the subject is 
brought into focus.

fully to take a picture even when the 
subject is not focused, set

white paper, or an object that is 
white etc. so that the frame in the 
center is filled by the white object 
only and then press [MENU/SET].
 You may not be able to set a new white 
balance if the subject is too bright or too

appropriate brightness and then reset the
