Compensating the Exposure
Applicable modes: 
Use this function when you cannot achieve appropriate exposure due to the difference in 
brightness between the subject and the background.

The Exposure Compensation value can be set within a range of  j5 EV to i 5EV.

range of  j3 EV to i 3EV.

Setting the Light Sensitivity
Applicable modes: 
This allows the sensitivity to light (ISO sensitivity) to be set.
Setting to a higher figure enables pictures to be taken even in  dark places without the 
resulting pictures coming out dark.

Setting the Shutter Type
Applicable modes: 
You can take pictures using either of the two shutter methods:  the Electronic Front Curtain 
method or the electronic shutter method.
¢ 1 This setting is available only in Manual Exposure Mode.

Pictures taken with a burst speed of [SH] will be recorded as a  single burst group (P231).
