8 USAGE PRECAUTIONS Before using the Rice Cooker for the first time, remove the Scoop and Measuring Cup from the Pan and the packing paper kept between the Pan and the Heater. Make sure the Pan is sitting properly in the Body. Keep the outside of the Pan and the Heater clean and dry. If the Pan is not positioned correctly or has any foreign matter between the Pan surface and the Heater, the Switch may pop up before cooking is complete and the heater may be damaged. Do not use...

9 Measure rice with the provided Measuring Cup. 1 cup of uncooked rice makes approximately 2 cups of cooked rice. Rice should be level with the brim of the Measuring Cup as figure shown on the right. Wash ( rinse ) rice in a separate bowl several times until water becomes relatively clear. Transfer rinsed rice to the rice cooker pan.. 10 HOW TO STEAM FOODS Add water to the Pan and insert the Pan into the Body. Place the Steaming Basket on the Pan. Add food into the Steaming Basket. (Place it on a dish if required). Cover the Rice Cooker with the Lid. Plug in and press the Switch. The orange “Rice Cooking” indicator shows you steaming has started. Turn off the rice cooker by unplugging it from the outlet.
