–97– Functions of the Unit’s VTR SAVE/STBY Switch Tape running mode Pressing the unit’s STOP, REW or FF buttons sets the internal VTR to stop, rewind or fast for- ward modes, respectively. However, the external VTR is set to recording paused status in all cases. Viewing playback images on the viewfinder Pressing the unit’s PLAY button allows black-and-white playback images from the internal VTR tape to be viewed on the viewfinder.
