Menu functions> 121 MONO-PRINT SPEEDAUTO SPEED MONO 32PPM COLOR SPEED MIXED SPEEDIf the first page of a print job is black and white, the printer runs at 32ppm (pages per minute). When a colour page is detected the printer slows down to 20ppm (C5700) or 26ppm (C5900) for the rest of that job. This setting operates in the same way as AUTO SPEED, except that the printer runs at 32ppm until a colour page is detected.
