Enhancing Brightness and Contrast: D-Lighting
D-Lighting can be used to create copies with enhanced brightness and contrast, 
brightening dark portions of a picture. Enhanced copies are stored as separate files.

Creating a Cropped Copy: Crop
Create a copy containing only the portion visible in the monitor when u is displayed 
with playback zoom (
A56) enabled. Cropped copies are stored as separate files.
1Enlarge the desired picture during full-frame 
display ( A28) by rotating the zoom control to 
the  g (i ) direction.
•To crop a picture displayed in “tall” (portrait) orientation, zoom 
in on the picture until the black bars displayed on the both

Resizing Pictures: Small Picture
Create a small copy of the current picture. Small copies are stored as JPEG files with 
a compression ratio of 1:16. The following sizes are available.
1Choose the desired picture from full-frame

Viewing Pictures by Date (List by Date Mode)
In the Clist by date mode, you can playback only the images taken on the same 
date.
In full-frame playback mode, just as with playback mode, picture display can be 
enlarged, pictures can be edited, voice memos can be recorded or played back, 
movies can be played back, and sorting of images into a favorite folder can be done. 
When the  d button is pressed, the list by date menu is displayed, and all pictures

Image Searching (Auto Sort Mode)
Pictures and movies will automatically be sorted in any of the following folder 
names after shooting them.
