    Step 3: Start Virtual Remote Tool
    Start using the shortcut icon
    • Double-click the shortcut icon  on the Windows Desktop.
    Start from the Start menu
    • Click [Start] → [All Programs] or [Programs] → [NEC Projector User Supportware]  → [Virtual Remote \bool] 
    → [Virtual Remote \bool].
    	 When	Vir tual 	 Remote 	T ool 	 starts 	 for 	 the 	 first 	 time\f 	“Easy 	 Setup”	 window 	 will 	 be 	 displayed.
    	 Follow	the	instructions	on	the	screens
    	 When	“Easy	 Setup”	 is 	 completed\f 	 the 	Vir tual 	 Remote 	T ool 	 screen 	 will 	 be 	 displayed.
    NOTE:
    •	 When	[POWER-SAVIN\f] 	is 	se\bected 	for 	[ST ANDBY 	MODE] 	from 	the 	menu, 	the 	projector 	cannot 	be 	turned 	on 	via 	the 	computer 	
    cab\be	(V\fA)	or	network	(wired	LAN/wire\bess	LAN)	connection.
    TIP:
    •	 The	Virtua\b	Remote	Too\b	screen	(or	Too\bbar)	can	be	disp\bayed	without	disp\baying	“Easy	Setup”	window.
    	 To	do	so,	c\bick	to	p\bace	a	check	mark	for	“		Do	not	use	Easy	Setup	next	time”	on	the	screen	at	Step	6	in	“Easy	Setup”.

    Exiting Virtual Remote Tool
    1 Click the Virtual Remote \bool icon  on the \baskbar.
    	 The	pop-up	menu	will	be	displayed.
    2 Click “Exit”.
    	 The	Virtual 	 Remote 	T ool 	 will 	 be 	 closed.

    • Displaying the help file \vusing the taskbar
    1 Click the Virtual Remote \bool icon  on the taskbar wh\Sen Virtual Remote \bool is running.
    	 The	pop-up	menu	will	be	displayed.
    2. Click “\felp”.
    	 The	Help	screen	will	be	displayed.
    • Displaying the help file \vusing the Start Menu.

    TIP:	You	can	check	the	IP	address	in	the	menu	when	[ENABLE]	is	se\bected	for	[DHCP].
    To	do	so,	from	the	menu,	se\bect	[INFO.]
    IP ADDRESS ..................\d.....Set  \four  IP  address  of  the  \betwork  co\b\bected  to  the  projector  whe\b  [DISABLE]  is  selected  for 
    [DHCP].
    TIP:	You	can	check	your	specified	IP	address	in	the	menu

    UPDATE
     ..................\d............Reflect \four setti\bgs\d.
    NOTE:	C\bose 	the 	browser 	after 	c\bicking 	[UPDA TE]. 	The 	projector 	wi\b\b 	automatica\b\by 	update 	your 	
    settings.
    TIP:	Se\becting	[NETWORK 	SETTIN\fS] 	for 	[RESET] 	from 	the 	projector’ s 	menu 	a\b\bows 	you 	to 	return 	the 	fo\b\bowing 	items 	to 	the 	factor y 	
    defau\bt.
    [DHCP]:	DISABLE/	[IP	ADDRESS]:	192.168.0.10/	[SUBNET	MASK]:	255.255.255.0/	[DEFAULT	\fATEWAY]:	192.168.0.1

    7.  Press the ▽ button to [GLASSES] a\Snd press the EN\bER \Sbutton.
    	 The	[GLASSES]	setting	screen	will	be	displayed.
    8. Press the ▽ button to select a \Scompatible eyeglass method and \Spress the EN\bER button.

    	 Set	other	3D-related	menu	options	such	as	[F\bRMAT]	and	[L/R	INVERT]	as	necessary.	
    9. Press the MENU button once.
    	 The	menu	will	disappear.
