    							Page 51 6-3-3-4 Camera Check
    1. Select ‘CAMERA CHECK’ from the I/O Test Screen. The following
    screen is displayed:-
    •In the CAMERA CHECK Screen, the current view of the camera is
    displayed in the centre box.
    (a) MIRROR/PHOTO
    By pressing the Brake Pedal or Service Switch, the image from the
    camera is frozen on the screen and the word MIRROR, just below the
    image box, changes to PHOTO. This is the mage that would be used
    during the game.
    Pressing the Brake Pedal or Service Switch again reverts back to
    current camera image, and the word PHOTO changes to MIRROR.
    The mode of [MIRROR] is used for adjustment of the image, and the
    mode of [PHOTO] to verify the picture to be used during the game.
    (b) IRIS ADJUST
    This setting is used to adjust the brightness of the image.
    The brightness of the image is automatically adjusted to the optimum
    value by the system, but this item allows the brightness level to be
    set manually.
    Select this item and press the ENTER button. Use the Select UP/
    DOWN switch to make the image brighter or darker. There are three
    brighter and three darker settings available.
    Press the ENTER button to store the new setting and to exit this
    mode.I/O TEST

    This setting is used to adjust the colour tint of the image.
    The colour tint of the image is automatically adjusted to the optimum
    value by the system, but this item allows the colour tint level to be set
    manually.
    Select this item and press the ENTER button. Use the Select UP/DOWN
    switch to increase or decrease the red tint. The red tint can be increased
    or decreased by three levels each.
    Press the ENTER button to store the new setting and to exit this mode.
    (d) V POSITION
    This setting is used to set the vertical position of the camera view.
    Select this item and press the ENTER button. Use the Select UP/DOWN
    switch to move the camera view up or down.
    Press the ENTER button to store the new setting and to exit this mode.
    (e) H POSITION
    This setting is used to set the horizontal position of the camera view.
    Select this item and press the ENTER button. Use the Select UP/DOWN
    switch to move the camera view left or right.
    Press the ENTER button to store the new setting and to exit this mode.
    •Select EXIT and press the Select Button to return to the I/O Test Screen.
    Adjustment of the Camera
    Adjust the camera to obtain the best image by following the steps below.
    (1) Verify moving images.
    Make sure that the image in the test screen box is moving. If a still picture
    is shown press the Brake Pedal once.
    (2) Adjust the image quality.
    Check the brightness and colour tint of the image and if neccessary adjust
    by following steps (b) and (c) above.
    (3) Adjust the position.
    Make any adjustments neccessary by following steps (d) and (e) above.
    To set the position for the average height try to set the position of the
    camera as shown below.
    (4) Check the image.
    Sit in the seat and step om the Brake Pedal. Check the quality and
    position of the still image. If the image is not correct, step on the Brake
    Pedal and follow repeat steps 2 and 3 above.

    1. Select “MONITOR TEST” on the menu screen to test and adjust the
    Monitor. The following screen is displayed.
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press
    the Enter button. To return to the Monitor Test Menu from a test pattern
    press the Enter button.
    3. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.
    Note:   Items (c) and (i) are not used on this game.

    1. Select “SOUND TEST” on the menu screen to test the audio and adjust
    the volume settings. The following screen is displayed.
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch to choose the required item then press
    the Enter button.
    3. Use the Up/Down switch to change the setting.
    4. Press the Enter button to return to item select mode
    4. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu screen.

    The volume levels of all speakers will be adjusted at the same time
    with the balance between front and rear speakers being set
    automatically.
    (b) FRONT L&R SP
    The volume levels for both front speakers will be adjusted together.
    (c) FRONT L SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 40]
    The volume level for the front left speaker only will be adjusted.
    (d) FRONT R SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 40]
    The volume level for the front right speaker only will be adjusted.
    (e) REAR L&R SP
    The volume levels for both rear speakers will be adjusted together.
    (f) REAR L SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 30]
    The volume level for the rear left speaker only will be adjusted.
    (g) REAR R SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 30]
    The volume level for the rear right speaker only will be adjusted.
    (h) AUTO SETTING
    The volume levels of all speakers, during attract mode, will be
    adjusted at the same time with the balance between front and rear
    speakers being set automatically.
    (i) FRONT L&R SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 40]
    The volume levels of both front speakers, during attract mode, will be
    adjusted together.
    (j) REAR L&R SP [0~64, DEFAULT = 30]
    The volume levels of both rear speakers, during attract mode, will be
    adjusted together.
    (k) REQUEST SONG No.
    Each number produces a different sound each time the service
    button is pressed. (The sound will turn off after approx 10 seconds)
    Number 001 will produce a stereo test. Sound will be produced from
    the left speaker then the right speaker and then both speakers, first
    from the cabinet speakers and then from the seat speakers.
    The message on the screen will display which speaker is active.

    6-3-6 ADS Data
    By selecting ADS Data from the menu screen, all of the bookkeeping 
    details can be read and/or reset.
    6-3-7 Others 1. Select “OTHERS” on the menu screen. The following screen is displa\
    yed. 
    2. Use the Select Up/Down switch choose the required item then press the Enter button.
    3. Select “EXIT” and press the Enter button to return to the menu scr\
    een. 
    (a,) Displays game software version. 
    (b) The current time is displayed (the time cannot be reset)
    (c) Used to test the PCB. (this function is only for factory testing)
    (d) Sets the language displayed on the screen. (English:ENG, German:GER, French:FRA, Spanish:SPA,Portugese:POR, Italian ITA)
    (e) When selected the Data Initialization Menu appears. To reset all game settings to factory setting and clear all stored data , select YES 
    from the Data Initialization menu then press the Enter button.
    After initializing the backup data ensure that the game is re-
    initialized.  (see section 7 page  57)

    7. INITIALIZATION
    Adjustments when Replacing Parts
    The following operation 
    must always be performed after replacing the Game
    PCB, Rom, or Control Potentiometers.
    The game will not operate correctly if these adjustments are not made.
    1. Slide the TEST switch ON while pressing the SERVICE switch . The
    following screen is displayed.
    2. Ensure that the steering wheel is set to its centre position and both the
    accelerator and brake pedals are released.
    3. Press the Service Switch to reset the the numbers displayed on the
    screen.
    4. Turn the steering wheel fully to the left and then the right.
    5. Fully depress and release the accelerator and brake pedals.
    6. Press the Enter Switch to store the new limits and to go to Switch Test to
    confirm that the steering and pedal controls are working correctly.I/F INITIALIZE

    8. MAINTENANCE

    GAdjustment or maintenance on this machine should be carried out by
    qualified personnel only.
    Ensure that the 
    POWER to the machine is turned OFF before
    commencing any maintenance work. (Trouble shooting, service or
    repairs etc.)

    							Page 60 8-1 Replacing the Steering PCB and/or Fuse
    1. Remove 2off security screw (M5x12) and lower the steering PCB tray.
    2. Replace the fuse.
    OR
    3. Disconnect the connectors.
    4. Replace the steering PCB.
    5. Raise the steering PCB door and refit the 2off security screw (M5x12).
