4. MOVING THE MACHINE
This machine is fitted with castors to make it easier to move. Take care when 
moving the machine on an inclined surface.
The overall height of the machine is 2280mm. Take care of any overhead 
obstructions. (e.g. Light Fittings, Electric Cables etc.)
WARNING •NEVER turn the power to the machine ON until 
installation has been completed.
WARNING • In order to prevent possible electric shocks, be sure that the machine is connected to the mains with a
securely connected earthed plug.
WARNING • So that customers are not injured , ensure that there is at least 500mm separation between other machines or
walls.
CAUTION • In  order to avoid damage to the machine due to mis-
operation, ensure that the voltage of the mains supply is
230volts AC.
5. INSTALLATION
Notes on Installation
NOTE • If the location site of this machine has a polished floor it is recommended that rubber pads are fitted under the level 
adjusters to prevent the machine sliding on the floor.
• In order to gain access to the Power Supply and CPU assemblies, make sure that the rear of the machine is
separated from a wall or other machine by at least 500mm.
• When installation is complete, it is imperative that the game is initialized.  (See section 7 page  54)

3. In luoghi dove potrebbe esserci un uscita di emergenza o un’attrezzatura per lo
spegnimento del fuoco.
4. In posti non stabili o con eccessive vibrazioni.

							Page 37 5-1 Fitting the Header Assembly
The Header Assembly has a forward centre of gravity, so it is important
that at least 
two people are used to fit or remove the Header Assembly.
The fitting position of the Header Assembly is very high, and it is
important that a means of reaching the height safely, without stretching, is
available. (e.g. steps, step stools etc.)
1. Place the Header Assembly on top of the main cabinet so that the front
engages under the front retaining brackets.
2. Slide the header assembly back until it is contact with the rear retaining
brackets.
3. Fit the two Pozi Pan head screws (M5x16), flat and spring washers.

4. Remove two Pozi Pan head screws (M4x12), flat and spring washers, and
remove the connector cover plate.
5. Connect the connector and refit the connector cover plate with the two
Pozi Pan head screws (M4x12), flat and spring washers. 
						

							Page 39 5-2 Fitting the Ride Base Assembly
1. Place the Ride Base Assembly close to the monitor cabinet, ensuring that
the Side Safety Rail is to the outside.
2. Remove 8off security screws (M5x12) and remove both Base Front Cover
Plates.
3. Connect the connector between the Ride Base and the monitor cabinet
and push the Ride Base up to the monitor cabinet, taking care not to trap
the cable or connectors.

4.  Fit 4off Hex head screws (M10x35), flat and spring washers to join the
ride base to the monitor cabinet.
5. Refit the base front cover plates and secure with the 8off security screws (M5x12).
6 . Initialize the game before playing.  (See section 7 page 54)
Note:- 
When the machine is in its final position, lower the twelve level adjust\
ers, (4 on
the monitor cabinet and 4 on each ride base assy), with a spanner so th\
at the
machine is level and all castors are raised from the floor by approx. 5m\
m.
Tighten the lock nuts with a spanner to ensure that the level adjusters d\
o not
move.

1. When fitting the number decals ensure that the players are numbered
from left to right (viewed from the front) and that each horse has a
different number.
2. When linking two machines as a four player game, player one is extreme
left and player four is extreme right. (viewed from the front)
