    Installation
    Mounting the main unit \son a

    You can mount the m\Vain unit on a wall\V.

    1. Match the TV BOTTOM LINE of  WALL 
    BRACKET INSTALL GUIDE with the\V bottom 
    of TV and attach to the position.

    the wall plugs \fNot \Vsupplied). You should 
    drill some holes. A guide sheet \f WALL 
    BRACKET INSTALL GUIDE) is suppl\Vied to drill. 
    Use the sheet to check the point \Vto drill.

    NOTE
    Screws and Wall \blugs are not supplied for 
    mounting the unit. \VWe recommend the Hilti \fHUD-

    3. Remove the WALL BRACKET INSTALL GUIDE.
    4. Fix it with screws \fnot supplied) a\Vs shown in 
    the illustration b\Velow.

    5. Attach the unit bra\Vcket to the unit 
    with screws \fsupplied) as sh\Vown in the 
    illustration below.

    Detach the unit from the bracket as shown below.
    6. Remove the stand from the unit.

    7. Hang the main unit \Vonto the brackets, as 
    shown below.

    CAUTION
    •  Do not hang onto the installed un\Vit and avoid 
    any impact to the unit.
    •  Secure the unit firmly to the wall so that\V it does 
    not fall off. If the unit falls o\Vff, it may result in an 
    injury or damage to the product.
    •  When the unit is i\Vnstalled on a wall\V, please make 
    sure that a child doe\Vs not pull any of connecting 
    cables, as it may cause it to fall.

    Initial setting an ID of wireless 
    subwoofer
    1. Connect the power cord of the Wireless 
    subwoofer to the outlet.
    2. Turn on the main unit\V : The main unit and 
    wireless subwoofer will be automatically 
    connected. 
    Setting an ID of wireless subwoofer
    When the unit is m\Vanufactured, the ID is 
    already set. If an interference occurs or you  
    use a new wireless subwoofer, an ID should be \V
    set again.
    1. \bress HOME \f).
    2. Use I/i to select the [Setup] and 
    press ENTER \f). The [Setup] menu appears.
    3. Use U/u to select [AUDIO] option then \V
    press i to move to the second level.
    4. Use U/u to select the [Connecting 
    Speakers] option then p\Vress ENTER \f) to 
    move to the third level.  
    The [ Wireless Speaker Connection Guide] 
    appears.
    5. \bress \bAIRING button on the subwoofer. 
    -  If you see the blue LE\VD indicator light, 
    pairing was successful. 
    6. Use U/u to select the [2.1 Speaker Setup] 
    and press ENTER \f) for wireless speaker 
    connection test.

    NOTE
    • If you operate main unit then wireless subwoofer 
    \frear speakers) sound within a\V few seconds in 
    standby mode.
    •  Set the distance be\Vtween this unit and \V

    •  Optimum performance can be imple\Vmented 
    only when the unit\V and the Wireless subwoofer

    How to attach the ferrite core
    1.   \bress the stopper [a] of the f\Verrite core to open.
    2.  Wind the cable once\V on the ferrite core. Attach the ferrite core near the unit \fRefer to the fig.3 and comment.).
    3.  Close the ferrite core until it clicks.

    Be	sure	to	attach	the	ferrite	core	to	the	speaker	
    ca\fle.	 This	ferrite	core	can	re\buce	noises.
    How to atta\bh the ferrite \bore
    1.	 Press	the	stopper	[a]	of	the	ferrite	core	to	open.
    2.	 Win\b	the	power code of the \
    unit

    	the	ferrite	 core.
    3.	 Close	the	ferrite	core	until	it	clicks.	 Refer	to	the	fig.3	an\b	comment.

    Connections to Your 
    TV
    Make one of the following connections, 
    depending on the ca\Vpabilities of your existing 
    equipment.
    NOTE
    • Depending on your TV and other equipme\Vnt 
    you wish to connect, there are various ways 
    you could connect the unit. Use on\Vly one of the 
    connections described in this manua\Vl.
    •  \blease refer to the manuals of y\Vour TV, Stereo 
    System or other devices as necessary to make 
    the best connections.
    •  Make sure the unit is conn\Vected directly to 
    the TV. Tune the TV to the correct video input 
    channel.
    •  Do not connect your unit via your VCR. The 
    image could be distorted by the copy protection 
    system.
    HDMI Out Connection
    If you have a HDMI TV or monitor, you can 
    connect it to this unit using a\V HDMI cable. 
    Connect the HDMI OUT jac\Vk on the unit to 
    the HDMI IN jack o\Vn a HDMI compatibl\Ve TV or 
    monitor.  
    Set the TV’s source to HDMI \frefer to TV’s 
    Owner’s manual).

    •  You can fully enjoy digital audio and vid\Veo

    NOTE
    •  If a connected HDMI device does not acce\Vpt 
    the audio output o\Vf the unit, the HD\VMI device
    ’s audio sound may be distorted or may not 
    output.
    •   When you connect a HDMI or DVI compatible 
    device make sure of the following: 
    -   Try switching off the HDMI/D\VVI device and this 
    unit. Next, switch on the HDMI/DVI device and 
    leave it for around 30 seconds, then switch on 
    this unit.
      -   The connected device’s video input is s\Vet 
    correctly for this unit.
      -   The connected device is compatible\V with 
    720x576i \for 480i), 720x576p \V\for 480p), 
    1280x720p,1920x1080i or 192\V0x1080p video 
    input.
    •   Not all HDC\b-compatible HDMI or\V DVI devices 
    will work with this unit. 
    -   The picture will not be disp\Vlayed properly with 
    non-HDC\b device.
      -   This unit does not \Vplayback and TV screen is 
    changed to black or green screen or the snow 
    noise may occur on the scr\Veen.
    •   If there is noise or line\Vs on the screen, please 
    check the HDMI cab\Vle and use a higher\V version 
    cable than 1.2A HD\VMI cable. 
    CAUTION
    •  Changing the resolution when the\V connection 
    has already been establis\Vhed may result in 
    malfunctions. To solve the problem, turn off the 
    unit and then turn it on again.
    •   When the HDMI conn\Vection with HDC\b is 
    not verified, TV screen is changed to black or 
    green screen or the snow noise may occur on 
    the screen. In this case, check the the HD\VMI 
    connection, or disconnec\Vt the HDMI cable.
    Video Connection
    Connect the VIDEO OUT jack on t\Vhe unit to the 
    video in jack on t\Vhe TV using a video cabl\Ve.
    You can hear the sound through the 
    system’s speakers.

    Resolution Setting
    The player provides several output resolutions 
    for HDMI OUT jacks. You can change the 
    resolution using [Setup] menu.
    1. \bress  HOME.
    2. Use I/i to select the [Setup] and press  
    ENTER. The [Setup] menu appears\V.
    3. Use U/u to select [Display] option then 
    press i to move to the second level. 
    4. Use U/u to select the [Resolution] option \V
    then press i to move to the third level.
    5. Use U/u to select the desired resolution 
    then press  ENTER to confirm your 
    selection.
    NOTE
    If your TV does not accept t\Vhe resolution you have 
    set on the player, you can set resolution to 576p \for 
    480p) as follows:
    \bress x (\bTOP) for more than 5 seconds.

    2.  Turn the power on by pressing  1 (POWER)
    .
    3.  Select the \bORTABLE or AUX \fL/R) IN\bUT  function by pressing  t RADIO&INPUT.
    4.  Turn on the portable player or external  device and start playing it.
