7. Lift the microprocessor 2 straight up and out of the socket. Notes: a. Your microprocessor and socket might look different than the one illustrated. b. Note the orientation of the microprocessor in the socket. Look for the small triangle on one corner of the microprocessor. Replacing the primary hard disk drive Important When you install a new hard disk drive, you also need a set of Product Recovery discs. The set of Product Recovery discs will enable the contents of the hard disk to be restored to the same state as when the computer was originally shipped from the factory.
