Using astraight edgeandfeeler gauges, check that bearing trackisrecessed 1.0mm (0.04 in) below outerfaceofmain casing. 3.Using asuitable mandrel, fitanew mainshaft input gearbearing track. Mainshaft inputgearbearing housing 1. Ensure bearing trackrecess inhousing is clean. 2. Position a3.15 mm(0.12 in)thick shim in bearing housing. NOTE:Thisisthe thinnest ofthe shims available. 3.
