Interior Equipment 70 Interio r E quipme ntFRONT INTERIOR & LOADSPACE LIGHTS Switch positions: •‘OFF’ - Light permanently off. •‘ON’ - Light illuminates continuously. With the switch in the centre position, the interior light illuminates automatically whenever the vehicle is unlocked, when the starter switch is turned off (to position ‘0’), or when a door or taildoor is opened. Interior Equipment 71 CLOCK The digital clock display illuminates constantly and dims automatically for night time viewing, when the side lights are illuminated. To adjust the time, use a ballpoint pen or similar probe to press the hour (left hand) and minute (right hand) controls, until the correct time is displayed. When it has reached the correct temperature it will partially eject and can then be withdrawn for use. •ONLY hold the cigar lighter by the handle. •DO NOT plug accessories into the cigar lighter socket unless they are approved by Land Rover. Interior Equipment 73 Rear Push the front of the ashtray on the right hand side to open. To remove, open the ashtray and then carefully lever the tray downwards to disengage the upper pivot. Refit by locating the upper pivot and then easing the ashtray into a position whereby the lower pivot can also be engaged.UNDER SEAT STOWAGE BOX To gain access, depress the catch (arrowed in illustration) and open the lid. Interior Equipment 74 AUXILIARY POWER SOCKET An auxiliary power socket is mounted immediately behind the rear seat on the left hand side of the loadspace. This can be used to power Land Rover approved accessories that use a maximum of 180 watts. Always run the engine during prolonged use of electrical accessories, otherwise the battery may become discharged. If C is not displayed, use a ballpoint pen or similar probe to press the button on the underside of the mirror for six seconds until ‘C’ is displayed.
