DAMPER
The power steering system,aswell asreducing the
effort required tomanoeuvre thevehicle when
parking, alsohelps todampen anydeflections ofthe
road wheels, beingtransmitted backtothe steering
wheel. When operating thevehicle offroad, theroad wheels
are often deflected byruts and boulders causingthe
steering wheeltoturn leftand right. Thisphenomenon
