The battery must be disconnected 
before  
the
LRSS is installed. 
Prior to disconnection the audio system
security code and pre-set should be noted
so that they may be returned to their original
settings on completion.
ALARM HARNESSThe alarm wiring harness supplied has been pre-con-
figured and grouped for installation convenience.  All
groups are clearly identified...

GROUP ‘B’- 
Rear Side Door pin Switches4 Mark and drill a 13mm and 3.5mm holes in rear
face of the ‘B’ post as shown.  De-burr and treat
with 
Land Rover
touch-up paint.
5 Drill 12mm hole in the front  face of the ‘B’ post,
de-bur and treat with 
Land Rover
touch-up paint.
6 Fit the grommet to the hole.
7 Select two suitable gauge/lengths of wire and
route beneath...

GROUP ‘G’ - Ultrasonics23 Mount the ultrasonic heads to the headlining at
the top of both ‘A’ posts using S/T screws.
24 Route both ultrasonic wires via the headlining,
down the drivers ‘A’ post and connect to the
Ultrasonic Module. 
25 Mount the Ultrasonic Module on the bulkhead to
the right of the Control Module.  Drill two holes,
treat with 
Land Rover 
touch-up...

3rd Circuit Interrupt - Fuel Cut off1 Route the two added wires in the engine bay loom
to the relay mounted on the bulkhead.
2 Locate the white wire on the relay (ignition live to
relay). Cut the wire 100mm back from the relay
and splice in the two additional wires. 
3 Locate  the other end of the wires (interior) and
insert into positions

IN-VEHICLE TEST MODE
Note :
When power is first applied to the LRSS it will be
in Vehicle Test Mode.
If access to a universal tester from the LRSS starter
pack is unavailable ensure that the procedures
detailed below are followed to test all the inputs
into the alarm system before exiting Test Mode.  The
only method by which the LRSS may be re-instated
into Test...

SECTION 1 - IMMOBILISATION
FAULT CORRECTIVE ACTION
The immobiliser does not Q. Does the LED go out after disarming and
