W orkPad z50 Mobile Companion 17 Installing the ROM/DRAM Card This section describes how to install the ROM card or the optional DRAM c ard to the W orkPad z50. Note: W hen you remove the ROM/DRAM card, you will lose all stored data. Before you remove the ROM/DRAM card, be sure to bac k up all data and applic ations in the bas e memory. W ith the notched end of the c ard toward the right side of the s ocket, ins ert the c ard at an angle of approximately 20 degrees into the s oc ket; press it in firmly as s hown (1). G ently pivot the c ard until it snaps into plac e (2). Attention To avoid damaging the RO M/DRAM c ard, do not touc h its contact edge. 8.
