Removing and replacing a FRU This section presents directions and drawings for use in removing and replacing a FRU. Be sure to observe the following general rules: 1. Do not try to service any computer unless you have been trained and certified. An untrained person runs the risk of damaging parts. 2. When installing:Attach the new shock absorber, aligning the two claws on the bottom side of the shock absorber with the small bumps on the surface of the base cover. Insert one claw into the dent first1, and then push the other side2until it snaps.
