When installing: 1. Install the sub card. Make sure that both of the connectors (steps6and8in the removal procedure) are firmly attached. 2. Insert the wireless PC Card into the upper slot of the PC Card slot. Make sure that the label on the wireless PC Card faces the bottom side of the computer and that the card is firmly attached. 3. 4. Secure the black cable with insulation tape as follows: A B Notes: a. Make sure that the cable does not jut out from the edge of the wireless PC Card as shown inAin the figure. Route the cable as shown in the left figure above. b. Route the cable along the edge of the PC Card slot as shown in the left figure above. 5. Route the cables as follows: a. Route the black cable and the gray cable one through the cable guide. b. Route the cables along the edge of the upper shield and secure them with the insulation tapea. c. Route the cable under LCD flexible cable(A)and alongside the LCD. (b) d. Route the cable between the fan assembly and the sub card. (c) e. Route the cable between the system board and the stiffener. Only at this point can any extra bend of the cables be allowed.
