When installing:Before reinstalling the system board, do the following. vMake sure that all of the thermal rubbers removed in step3are placed on the new system board as shown in the figures below. Note:When unplugging the antenna jack from the wireless PC Card, do not pull the cable; it might snap. When installing:After fixing the LCD assembly onto the base cover with tightening the screws, do the following procedure. 1. 2. Secure the black cable with insulation tape as follows: A B Notes: a. Make sure that the cable does not jut out from the edge of the wireless PC Card as shown inAin the figure. Route the cable as shown in the left figure above. b. Route the cable along the edge of the PC Card slot as shown in the left figure above. 3. Route the cables as follows: a. Route the black cable and the gray cable one through the cable guide. b. Route the cables along the edge of the upper shield and secure them with the insulation tapea. c. Route the cable under LCD flexible cable(A)and alongside the LCD. (b) d. Route the cable between the fan assembly and the sub card. (c) e. Route the cable between the system board and the stiffener. Only at this point can any extra bend of the cables be allowed.
