    JBIG Compression Disabled
    Enabled (default)The JBIG Compression reduces fax-
    transmission time, which can result in lower
    phone charges. However, using JBIG
    Compression sometimes causes
    compatibility problems with older fax
    machines. If this occurs, turn off the JBIG
    Compression.
    Maximum Baud Rate Select a value from
    the list.Use this feature to set the maximum baud
    rate for receiving faxes. This can be used as
    a diagnostic tool for troubleshooting fax
    problems.
    Dialing Mode Tone (default)
    PulseSelect whether the device should use tone or
    pulse dialing.
    Redial On Busy The range is between
    0 and 9. The factory
    default is 3 times.Type the number of times the device should
    attempt to redial if the line is busy.

    recipient fax number does not answer.

    Select the Standard setting to match the
    loading orientation of other devices that have
    a finisher.

    loading orientation that might work better with
    preprinted forms that are used on legacy
    products.

    With Scan Ahead enabled, the pages in the
    original document are scanned to disk and
    held until the device becomes available.
    Auto Print Interrupt Enabled
    DisabledWhen this feature is enabled, copy jobs can
    interrupt print jobs that are set to print multiple
    copies.
    The copy job is inserted into the print queue
    at the end of one copy of the print job. After
    the copy job is complete, the device
    continues printing the remaining copies of the
    print job.

    DisabledWhen this feature is enabled, a copy job that
    is currently printing can be interrupted when
    a new copy job is started. You are prompted
    to confirm that you want to interrupt the
    current job.

    BehaviorDefault Paper Size Select from the list of
    paper sizes.Use this feature to configure the default paper
    size used for print jobs.

    of A4-size paper. If you enable this option,
    eighty 10-pitch characters can be printed on
    a single line of A4 paper.

    Disabled (default)Use this feature to select whether a
    PostScript (PS) error page is printed when
    the device encounters a PS error.
    Print PDF Errors Enabled

    default point size (for a proportional-spaced
    font).
