Wiper sponge replacement The wiper sponge ensures that the wiper blade can correctly clean the printheads. The wiper sponge should be replaced approximately every six months or when the following message is displayed: NOTE Please contact HP Support to obtain the Wi per Sponge Replacement Kit containing the new wiper sponge and wiper liquid bottle. 8.Carefully lift the empty wiper liquid bottle from the wiper liquid holder enough to make sure any remaining liquid drains into the printer.
