8.  Wenn der Motor läuft, den Choke gegen den 
Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis die Chokeklappe ganz geöffnet 
ist. 
Den Motor niemals in geschlossenen Räumen 
laufen lassen. Die Abgase enthalten 
Kohlenmonoxid, ein lebensgefährliches Gas.
5.6 STOPP
1.  Beide Kupplungshandgriffe loslassen. Anm.: Wenn die 
Schneeschraube weiter rotiert, siehe Abschnitt 
“EINSTELLUNG DER SEILZÜGE” weiter unten.
2.  Den Zündschlüssel abziehen. Den Schlüssel nicht 
drehen.

7 SCHMIERUNG
Vor allen Servicemaßnahmen immer: 
- den Motor abstellen 
- den Zündschlüssel abziehen 
- das Zündkerzenkabel von der Zündkerze 
abziehen.
Wenn die Gebrauchsanweisung vorschreibt, dass die 
Schneefräse nach vorn auf das Räumschild aufgestellt 
werden soll, muss der Benzintank vorher geleert werden.
Den Benzintank im Freien leeren, wenn der Motor 
kalt ist. Nicht rauchen. In einen für Benzin 
vorgesehenen Behälter leeren.

7.  Die Riemenspannung gemäß der obigen Anleitung 
einstellen.
8.  Die Riemenführung (D in Abb. 12) montieren.
9.  Die Riemenführung gemäß der folgenden Anleitung 
einstellen.
10. Den Riemenschutz wieder montieren.
11. Die Seilzüge gemäß der folgenden Anleitung einstellen.
8.3.2 KEILRIEMEN FÜR ANTRIEB
1.  Punkte 1 - 5 oben ausführen.
2.  Den Sicherungsring (17) von der Achse (18) der 
Drehplatte entfernen. Siehe Abb. 19. Die Achse 
herausziehen, so dass die Anstriebsscheibe nach vorne...

8.6.3 AUSTAUSCH DES REIBRADS
1.  Das rechte Rad von der Achse abnehmen.
2.  Lösen Sie die Schrauben (3) und nehmen Sie das 
Bodenblech (2) ab. Siehe Abb. 16.
3.  Demontieren Sie die Schraube, die das Kettenrad (12) 
hält und ziehen Sie die Achse (11) sowie das Kettenrad 
(12) ab. Siehe Abb. 22.
4.  Demontieren Sie die beiden Lagerhalterungen  (16 in 
Abb. 17).
5.  Demontieren Sie die Achse und Lagerhaltung. Bitte 
achten Sie auf die Anordnung der beiden Scheiben (17 in 
Abb. 23).

1 SYMBOLS

• Never use the snow thrower near enclosures, cars, 
windowpanes, slopes etc. without properly setting the 
discharge chute deflector. 
• Always keep children away from areas to be cleared. Get 
another adult to keep the children under supervision.
• Do not overload the machine by driving it too fast.
• Take care when reversing. Look behind you before and 
during reversing to check for any obstacles.
• Never point the discharge chute towards bystanders. Do 
not allow anyone to stand in...

4 CONTROLS
See figures 7-10.
4.1 STOP SWITCH (1)
To start the engine, the stop switch shall be set in position 
“ON”.
The engine will stop when the switch is set in position 
“OFF”.
4.2 CHOKE (2)
Used when starting a cold engine: The choke has two 
positions:
1. The choke is open
2. The choke is closed (for cold starting)
4.3 PRIMER (3)
Pressing the rubber prime-starter squirts fuel into the 
carburettor intake pipe to make it easier to start a cold 
engine.

4. If necessary fill with oil up to the FULL mark. See fig. 10.
5.  Use good quality oil marked A.P.I service SF, SG or SH. 
Use SAE 5W30 oil. Use SAE OW30 oil for temperatures 
under -18° C. 
Do not use SAE 10W40. 
5.3 FILL UP THE PETROL TANK
Always use lead-free petrol. Oil-mixed 2-stroke petrol must 
not be used.
NOTE! Bear in mind that ordinary lead-free petrol is 
perishable; do not purchase more petrol than can be used 
within thirty days.

5.  Adjust the shoes with the screws (A in fig. 1) to suit the 
ground conditions: 
- On flat ground, e.g. asphalt, the shoes should be about  
3mm under the scraping blade.
- On uneven ground, e.g. gravel paths, the shoes should 
be about  30mm under the scraping blade.
Always adjust the shoes so that gravel and stones 
are not fed into the snow thrower. There is a risk 
for personal injury if these are thrown out at high 
speed. 
Ensure the shoes are adjusted the same on both sides.

8 SERVICE AND REPAIRS
No service must be carried out before: 
The engine has stopped. 
The ignition key has been removed. 
- The starting cable has been disconnected from 
the spark plug.
If the instructions say that the machine is to be lifted at the 
front and rested on the auger housing then the petrol tank 
must be emptied.
Empty the petrol tank outdoors when the engine is 
cold. Do not smoke. Empty into a container 
designed for petrol.
