 NOTE:  Atmospheric pressure reported for METARs is given in hectopascals (hPa), except in the United 
States, where it is reported in inches of mercury (in Hg).  Temperatures are reported in Celsius.

3) Press the ENT Key.  The Weather Information Page is shown with METAR and TAF text.
4) Use the FMS Knob or the ENT Key to scroll through the METAR and TAF text.  METAR text is placed ahead of 
the TAF  text.
5) Press the FMS Knob or the CLR Key to return to the Weather Data Link (XM) Page.

1) Select the Weather Information Page.
2) Select the WX Softkey to select the Weather Information Page.

Displaying raw METAR text on the Active Flight Plan Page:
1) Select the Active Flight Plan Page on the MFD.
2) Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor.
3) Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight a waypoint with an associated METAR.  The METAR text will appear in the 
‘SELECTED WAYPOINT WEATHER’  window  below. 
4) When finished, press the FMS Knob to remove the cursor or press the FPL Key to exit the Active Flight...

Surface	 Analysis	 and	City	Forecast	 information	 (Figure	6-27)	is	available	 for	current	 and	forecast	 weather	
conditions.		Forecasts	are	available	for	intervals	of	12,	24,	36,	and	48	hours.

FREEZING LEVEL
Freezing	Level	data	(Figure	 6-29)	shows	 the	color-coded	 contour	lines	for	the	 altitude	 and	location	 at	
which	the	first	 isotherm	 is	found.		 When	no	data	 is	displayed	 for	a	given	 altitude,	 the	data	 for	that	 altitude	
has	not	been	 received,	 or	is	out	 of	date	 and	has	been	 removed	 from	the	display.		 New	data	appears	 at	the	 next	
update.

WINDS ALOFT
Winds	Aloft	data	(Figure	 6-31)	shows	 the	forecast	 wind	speed	 and	direction	 at	the	 surface	 and	at	selected	
altitudes.	Altitude	can	be	displayed	in	3000-foot	increments	up	to	42,000	feet	MSL.
Displaying Winds Aloft  data:
1) Select the Weather Data Link (XM) Page with the FMS Knob.
2) Select the MORE WX Softkey.
3) Select the WIND Softkey.
