Printing From Start to Finish31 Basic Printing With Mac OS X Follow the steps below to print a document or image on a Macintosh® using the basic printer settings. This may cause your printer to pause and leave an uneven surface on your printout. If ink is low, wait until printing finishes before checking ink levels or replacing a cartridge.
